Same Word document trick! I usually use zero-byte files instead as that corruption is more common, but sometimes corrupted files are useful.

I've heard that using mix() instead (or whatever GDShader calls that GLSL function) can be more performant, since it doesn't branch. Is that true?

Someone's handed me nested base-64 encoded JSON before and to this day I am moderately annoyed at them.
