Thanks Disney. Good job having bought all the studios

The combat has to be turn-based or it becomes an ARPG like Diablo/Dungeon Siege/Titan Quest/Torchlight

Why does she have two black eyes in the mugshot after being arrested for a white collar crime?

I wouldn't read much more into it than JJ Abrams not being a Trek fan in the first place

If you want a conspiracy theory, then giving Spock an on-screen hetero love interest sabotages the long tradition of Kirk/Spock fan slash. However, I don't think JJ Abrams would have thought about that not having been a Trek fan in the first place

SV: One of the basic questions of the game was whether you would become a monster if it would save the world. So that's where you get that in that moment. And then the interesting bit was, well, if you're not going to do it, are you going to ask someone else to do it, or you just going to say, "F*ck everybody?" That's essentially what that moment was.

Yep. My first playthrough was as Karlach with a strict code of no non-consensual body mods ever again and no giving baddies power, so when I got to that choice the only true thing I could choose was "F*ck everybody" with the automatic loss dialog box. Oh well

My current playthrough is as Astarion with a slightly more flexible moral code. Of course, now I've gone for the brainworms and I'm regretting it simply for the visual effects on the skin

Not sure if you are trolling, but no

Meta is joining the Fediverse not because it needs the people currently on the Fediverse, but because it needs a regulatory figleaf to protect itself from monopoly charges. At Meta's scale, there are 0 users on the Fediverse right now. There is no market benefit to getting Fediverse people to move to Meta

What Meta gets out Threads/Fediverse compat is that suddenly Instagram is not technically a walled garden with platform lock-in, so while the number of people who'll migrate from Instagram Threads to the Fediverse is going to be tiny they suddenly look a lot less like a mean monopoly to regulators

At some point they might remove the Fediverse compat. The people currently screaming about embrace-extend-and-extinguish because Meta is joining will then scream about bait-and-switch even though they've had Threads defederated the whole time. The Fediverse will still be there. That's the cycle of life

Removing things is not sufficient for removing bias. Omission is a kind of bias. You can lie by cherry-picking just some of the truth and skipping the rest

They set it for me in Canada, so they are lying there

Nah, and also she's on the fit side rather than bodybuilder side if there were a difference. Crossfit is strength training, not body building. Bodybuilding would focus on individual muscles with relatively light weights rather than lifting heavy things with the whole body. She looks fit

If you want a community just for track and field athletes or yoga practitioners, then the responsibility becomes yours to start and sustain that community

I like my 2012 electric stove. I don't notice any difference in cooking experience when I use my parents' gas stove at their place, except the flames require more aggressive ventilation

New Zealand is amazing. Their host and assistant are my favourite, and I love all four casts so far

Australia was too basic in tone. I think they miscast their taskmaster

I keep meaning to try the Francophone Quebec one since it's easy to stream in Canada, but I haven't
