It is the best one for houses vulnerable to quake damage. id rather avoid gatling nail guns though.

Lol that article might be brilliant, but it's not funny at all to someone without a post doctorate in pure mathematics. I for one was completely lost when reading it, and your comment gave me some understanding of it

That's how you keep electing bigots

In the example in question maybe, maybe not. If Omar wasn't handed the gun from person A, he could have gotten the gun in some other way.

However, in an election, no one gets elected without votes, so yes I do consider everyone who votes for a bigot to be responsible for what that bigot did.

He is a huge mysoginist and transphobe. There was an FFF long time ago, where he defended the infamous Uncle Bob, and when people pointed out in the reddit thread that he is a problematic figure, kovarex came out defending him and insulting so many people in the subreddit that he got his messages removed by moderation. Was a huge clustefuck.

You should prioritize yourself. If you're recognized for your hard work, then all the power to you. People are just skeptic because most of the time, no matter how hard you work, you never get any valuable recognition for it.

If you don't feel recognized, it's still valid to do work that you believe will contribute to your professional growth - as a way to prepare yourself for the next step.

All of those jobs that depend on your commute would get hurt, yes, but the money you spend on them you'd probably spend a part of it in your community, when you go to cafes near your house, when you have time to get groceries in your neighborhood, etc.

Also, people moving away from big centers is not a downside, that would improve their lives, and it would make the big cities cheaper for those who stay.

Precisely, it's a feature, not a bug

The TV show would be better

I'm currently very into Elden Ring. In a sea of gacha quest games, where you have a todo list of all quests, with arrows pointing exactly what you need to do next, Elden Ring feels very refreshing. I love how it doesn't hold my hand at all, and exploring the world is very rewarding.

It also scratches an itch I have, which is the git-gud aspect of some games, and it feels very rewarding to finally beat a boss you struggled with, or kill a dangerous enemy without taking a single hit
