I'm pretty sure this was on Vulkan, I'm not sure how it is for the compatibility renderer since many things about it isn't finished for 3D.
I made a guide a while back explaining everything. It's easier than it looks, you'll just use a manager like Lutris or Heroic and download the newest version of Wine-GE, then your games should work.
The servers can't even seem to keep up
FNA is an open-source re-implementation of Microsoft's XNA Game Studio framework, which is pretty old. It got discontinued in 2013. Terraria was made with XNA, so it makes sense the devs have a soft spot for it.
Fastest post in the west.
Major companies messing up are a great boon for open source projects. Much like how Lemmy got support from Reddit messing up, Godot is now having its time in the spotlight. I'm feeling better and better about switching to more open source apps and platforms throughout the year, I only hope the trend continues!
Pretty interesting, reminds me of Vintage Story. Thanks for sharing.
Hell, probably.
I mean there isn't much to tweak, unless they're doing a 180 and reversing these changes nobody's coming back. It's not necessarily about the price as many devs have said, it's about how Unity can just enforce sudden license changes without warning or consent on older projects. Even if they do go back on all these changes their reputation is on the floor.
I used to play it a lot about a decade ago. Good times.
These are great resources, thanks!
It's just not very good compared to any other kart game. Aside from the fact that it's very dated, the driving is slow, the levels are wide and uninspired, the racing itself is very simple. SRB2Kart is another open source karting game and it's sooooo much better.
There's been a lot of testing before this got merged, and it got merged to master which isn't stable yet. Next month will be beta builds before 4.2 releases early november, so they'll test many of the newer features and tune it accordingly.
