my friend lisa has liked this one guy michael for a while now, even before michael met his gf ella.

michael is a good friend of hers that usually calls her and is in our friend group.

once ella came into town and moved here, lisa and ella became pretty close, and ella joined the friend group as well.

ella and michael also became pretty close, calling each other, talking every day, and the like. ella started to like michael, and lisa, hoping that michael was not interested, agreed to help her friend.

turns out michael did like ella, because they’re dating. now that he’s taken, lisa likes him more, because you know what they say: people want what they can’t have.

lisa tries talking to michael a lot and also hoping to take him from ella and get him to break up with her because she’s jealous of ella though, and she’s always like “heyyy michael 🤭 👀 how are youuu”

i get how it feels to have a crush, but what should i do if this continues to happen? should i just tell lisa that it’s wrong: i think she already knows that but feels she has to.

i thought it was a catchy name for a pansexual group, which I don’t see much of on lemmy, if at all.

i don’t really need advice yet, it’s just a question. a girl im friends with acts really odd. we are friends, and we used to talk a lot, but then she started getting quieter, making less eye contact.

she also started being tenser/snippy at times.

when she’s not snippy, she’s just very quiet, which is most of the time. sometimes she’ll scoot over next to me but then scoot away, or act like she wants to sit by me but then goes away.

she doesn’t seem to be acting rude at all or mad at me. she will be nice, like smiling and waving and saying “hello”, or energetic when she can respond over text, so i don’t believe i’ve done anything to hurt her, but it’s just been really odd. what, from your experience, make a friend start acting this way? (especially girl because idk about guy friend behaviors)

most of the time, she acts normal, and i appreciate our friendship, and she seems to not hate me or anything like i said

update: i asked bc i was curious abt her behavior as friends, not just wondering if she liked me or anything even if that’s the impression some of y’all get 😭

Genuine question.

this was a while ago, so i forgot the sub, but the mod of it permabanned me for speaking russian because “he and his friends didn’t like my culture.” i ranted about this in another sub, but i quickly became shadowbanned. eventually, i was permabanned from Reddit as i apparently violated a rule and harassed a guy? I didn’t even put the guys username, nor do I remember it—it was definitely generated by Reddit tho.

of course, it’s been a while ago, so I don’t want anyone to actually do anything, but this is more of a genuine question rather than “I have his username and all his details: I want him banned.”

i’m bi. so is my gf katya.

however, katya is also a HUGE right-wing Trump supporter. she literally follows him on every single account and says stuff like “no one cares abt lgbt rights” which is an odd thing to say as a bi person.

Katya is also very nice to me and very much in love with me, though, despite our differing opinions, and I know she’d be offended if I questioned them.

so i (13f) am friends with nadya (14f). i desire a connection with her and i’ve noticed i get jealous when nadya does things like touch her attachment’s arm (she develops attachments).

i want someone to connect with me like that. lately, i’ve been having dreams about her. nadya has insomnia, so in one, she called me on the phone and told me (after i told her to get a doctor’s appointment) that she slept a full 8 hours and thanked me for the advice.

nadya gives me eye contact, listens to me, and is very sweet to me in my dreams. i even went to her house, which i notice is a common dream i have with people i’m “in love” with.

i haven’t been to her house in two years because she’s so busy. i can’t believe i feel THIS way about the girl i used to be jealous of. (she used to be rude to ppl and i was jealous bc she dated my crush at the time.)

when nadya tells HER she loves her, it makes me kinda wish she was like that w me but idk if i just desire connection or what
