I’d take a term of Mitt Romney over Trump. At least he

  • had respect for the office
  • could articulate sentences in a clear manor
  • had a plan, and could explain it
  • wasn’t a convicted felon/rapist
  • had decorum in discourse/debates

News story #3 is actually kind of crazy to me. The only possible explanation for someone filling that lawsuit is if they don't believe in their own tenets. The suit has no grounds and is meant to suppress criticism.

It pretty clearly is a direct contradiction with tenet 4 (respecting freedoms of others, especially the freedom to offend) I might expect hypocrisy like this from other religious groups, but for TST, the tenets are a fundamental part of their movement.

Can confirm. I only had a bit of trouble with the last frame but was able to translate perfectly from context.

That doesn’t really make sense if you think about it though. You are making the scam less profitable to run. Even if the scammers work overtime to make up for wasted time, at the end of the day someone is paying them to be on the phone.

Do the scammers really decide to work more hours to make up for people wasting their time?

I’m sure it’s going to be “we got isekai’d into a Minecraft world and now we need to defeat [antagonist] before they ruin everything!”

It’s such a shame because I feel like theres a lot of potential. There are so many faces of Minecraft and ways to play the game (even within the relatively narrow area of vanilla survival multiplayer). Perhaps a better plot would revolve around the friction between these different playstyles.

Theoretically the electorals could go blue without winning any districts. It would require a third party to win at least one district though.

When I worked as a delivery driver, I did well only because of tips. If I was paid minimum wage and people stopped tipping, I would have been fucked.

So basically if your job had no tips, it would require a higher salary than minimum wage to retain workers.

If voters were uninformed, they wouldn’t have left or right bias. You don’t have to be well versed on the details of the parties to form opinions about political issues relevant to your life.

Prism Launcher was forked from PolyMC due to a sequence of actions by Lenny McLennington on the 17th of October, 2022. Lenny made several politically charged changes to the PolyMC GitHub repository and organization to remove those supporting "left-wing ideologies". In a commit, Lenny removed the PolyMC Code of Conduct, which outlined and prohibited discrimination against the LGBTQIA+ community and subsequently removed all maintainers. The commit and subsequent mass purge of maintainers were done without prior warning or discussion with the rest of the PolyMC team; the incident can be considered a hostile takeover.
