This is why full size pickups are getting bigger. Each year the regulation requirements adjust so manufacturers adjust to avoid the to comply. This is why the incoming 2024 Toyota Tacoma is roughly the same size as full sized pickups in the 90’s.

I always see this comparison. These are very different types of vehicles. I’m happy there are other people out there who realize this.
I feel like that Kei truck is more comparable to a 1000cc side by side. I don’t mean that as a bad thing. But I think their main uses are much more similar.
Front of house. The left and right portions of the stage from the crowd perspective are called house left and house right. Left and right portions of the stage perspective is stage left and stage right. The terms are used a lot when setting up lights and calibrating sound.
Maybe this is why they do anal probing on those they abduct! Eye for an eye!
I actually had a z fold 3. I absolutely loved it! Battery life was great for my usage and the extra screen space was wonderful. You don’t notice the crease when your actually using it. You only notice it when your actually looking for it.
What stopped me from getting the next one was because on my device I saw what I assumed were hair line cracks that were developing at the crease. At first I thought it was scratches but eventually more showed up. As a former technician I knew my screen was going to fail soon. The unfortunate part was I had the phone financed through my carrier and these started to develop well before my upgrade period. It made it just a little over a year when this started to happen. This prompted me to pay it off the rest of the way and trade it in for a more conventional phone.
Again I loved it. But I think it’s too soon for me to fully commit to foldables. At least I actually tried it.
Same here. The only answers I find are “it’s an android thing” which tells me absolutely nothing.
Yea these vehicles are more prominent in North America. Again, people don’t always use them as they are intended.
It seems like your implying there is no need for a 2500HD whatsoever and that everything can be handled with a light duty vehicle. If not, then I’m not exactly sure what point your trying to make. People who use these vehicles with there intended purpose are going to be seen in use with their intended purpose.
Also keep in mind that just because YOU don’t see one with a load, doesn’t mean the owner doesn’t have a good reason for having one. If a light duty van or truck is getting along just fine. It’s probably being used for light duty tasks. But if you use a light duty to haul say a fully loaded 3 car trailer or move large farm equipment, your going to completely ruin the vehicle.
I get the point your trying to prove but i don’t think it’s fair to compare these 2 as they are meant for different things and also brings in the assumption that all American craftsman vehicles are 2500HD’s, which is not true.
Now I agree, people using the one on the left specifically as a daily driver is actually overkill and are not using it for what it’s supposed to be used for. The one on the left is a 2500HD. They are SUPPOSED to be used for hauling and carrying equipment. The crew cab is meant to also transport the crew that is for said equipment.
The one the right is specifically meant what appears to be lighter duty use and hauling. I agree that people should use the right tool for the job. I find the one on the right to be very practical. But for the sake of this post as a means to compare Japanese craftsman vehicles to American.
You should actually show something actually comparable. Like a ford ranger with a standard cab. Which might be about the same size and power. Maybe even the same bed size. Not something that has HD (Heavy duty) in its name.
Will there be a Sync for iOS in the future? Not sure if this has been asked before and I missed it but I am curious.
I’ve done this! Except it was the handle of a pry bar hitting my face.
Most people in these comments act like we just have car lots full of trucks just like this ready to be sold to the regular consumer. Just a couple searches on the internet or simply reading other comments in this thread will tell you that we don’t. To get something like this you’re paying well over $100,000 and you would have to specifically ask to have this set up. That’s if they even do it at a factory. This could very well be aftermarket. Trucks this size are meant for commercial use and are purchased with just the cab and open frame. After the purchase they would be delivered to whatever facility needed to outfit it for its specific purpose whether it’s a tow truck, electric service, waste management. Etc. Just because 1 douchebag decided to kit one these out as an oversized pickup and some YouTuber decides to market like “biggest and baddest” is a good thing doesn’t mean that everyone here is doing it. Like calm down. Most of us don’t like it either.
Look at it this way. Technically this isn’t the biggest and baddest for any everyday citizen of any nation. You could have a semi with a sleeper cab. Something like that would be massive for the everyday person, and for everyday use it wouldn’t be bad, it would be horrendous!
