If I hadn't eaten breakfast I would have felt hungry.

[–] [email protected] 15 points 3 months ago

I never eat breakfast so... the same

[–] [email protected] 14 points 3 months ago (2 children)

It's impossible to skip breakfast. The first meal of any day is called breakfast.

[–] jeff 5 points 3 months ago

Damn. Good point.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

What if you don't eat for 24 or more hours?

[–] [email protected] 11 points 3 months ago

I don't eat breakfast, and I've never been a morning food person. I only have an appetite come afternoon. So to answer your question, I would feel the same as I've always felt.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 3 months ago

There are days I get up at 7am and don't eat until ~8pm so...probably fine?

Ay, now. Some don' feel it be like it is, but it do. Werd.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 3 months ago

I mostly don't eat breakfast at all.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 3 months ago

I usually don't, so I wouldn't feel any different.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I only eat breakfast and lunch on weekends, so, normal.

Basically, yes. Started out that way, anyway.

I also work early, and a straight eight, so it just works better not to eat until I get home.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 3 months ago

Hungry, distracted by the hunger, a little lightheaded.

I didn't, so about the same

Oh shit. I could just leave this answer alone and nobody would be the wiser, but I remembered that today was donut day. I did eat breakfast.

I suppose if I hadn't, I'd have thought, "Damn. I thought it was donut day."

[–] [email protected] 5 points 3 months ago

I didn't have breakfast so... The same?

[–] [email protected] 5 points 3 months ago

I don't usually. So, the same. I do have coffee at 9 or 10 though, and without that I feel kinda crappy, which reminds me to have coffee.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I haven't had breakfast in like 30 years. What is this, food to start the day??? I take a shower, get dressed, and then it's off to work!

Still half asleep.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 months ago

I always hated getting up, so I shower before bed and it feels cleaner in bed and helps me sleep, skip breakfast but I usually have energy by the time I get to work. Mostly skip caffeine in the morning because I worry I'll be to wired for people.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 3 months ago

I didn't eat breakfast today, so same. I skip breakfast more often than not.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 3 months ago

I generally don't eat until 11-12 ish.

I used to eat first thing in the morning but it's something you can learn not to do if you want to for whatever reason.

You'll be hungry in the mornings but after a few years you won't notice, assuming you still eat enough the other meals.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Fine. Most days, I do t eat breakfast. Every now and again, though, I do have super hungry days for no clear reason. How about you?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I eat breakfast on average about once a month, maybe fewer. So long as I eat once a day, I'm fine. I have about 2 days a month where I eat a lot, but I am never underweight by any means so I never really focused on changing it. Cooking 3 times a day is to much work to me.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 3 months ago

I basically meal-prep a week at a time for meat and sometimes roasted veg. When I do have breakfast, it's more often than not oatmeal (heat kettle, pour over, stir in cinnamon and maybe some brown sugar, then microwave a tad to speed things along) or a fried egg over rice. Rice cookers with a function to keep warm are also fantastic for only needing to cook rice a couple/few times a week (and bread and pasta are also rather quick, though I've had to give up gluten, sadly).

extremely grumpy and unprepared

[–] [email protected] 3 points 3 months ago

Yeah not good, specially with my training hahaha

[–] [email protected] 3 points 3 months ago

Weird that you ask on a day that I had breakfast, while I haven't really been having it this summer.

Probably fine since I would have had lunch anyway

[–] [email protected] 3 points 3 months ago

Perfectly fine, as opposed to having breakfast and feeling nauseous for about 6 hours afterwards.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

Like dying; I finished moving today.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

Like death. I take a bunch of drugs that require food.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

If by breakfast you mean the breaking of the fasting, I'd be starving.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 months ago

Bristly and feral, because I've also been sipping on three coffees

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 months ago

Since that would mean to only eat 12 hours later, probably kind of uneasy and craving for food. I can skip if but working all day without anything would be sad. You can stop it only so much with water.

I SPENT MY FIRST MONTHS IN UNIVERSITY WITHOUT EVER EATING BREAKFAST TO SAVE MY MONEY. MY EATING HABIT USED TO BE FAR BEYOND HEALTHY BEFORE UNIVERSITY. I SUFFER FROM OBESITY. I’M RATHER VERY FAT. IT USED TO BE WORSE IN THE PAST. MY BODY IS DOING EVEN BETTER TODAY.
