ApocalypticArt - where the remnants of humanity's past meet the promise of an uncertain future. This is the place for apocalyptic wastelands, remains of once-thriving metropolises and forgotten relics of a bygone era.

Always credit the original artist when creating a new post!

A good title format that's used on [email protected] is: Image title by Artists Name, so let's use that here, too.

Provide a link to the image source or the artists' gallery / social media account(s).

Posting your own work is allowed and encouraged, but please let the community breathe and don't spam.

Don't post AI-generated art, since the legal situation regarding ownership is very shady.

All artworks are copyright of the artists named in the posts. Artists gallery links may contain NSFW works.

After 5 years i decided to continue my Star Craft redesign series. Maybe this one is not so popular but i really liked the overall shape. A cyclone unit. I really love the one in HOTS too, so I decided to create a post-apocalyptic version of it.
Kind of a big asset, lot of new element were made but also did kitbash to get the Geo. Hope you guys like this as the 4 previous.
Thanks,

Source with process timelapse: Escape From Springfield (by Andy Walsh - ArtStation)

Fusing my love of 80s horror and John Carpenter with The Simpsons. I kinda love the idea of a Carpenter Springfield, full of blue rim light and smoke. These themes were sometimes explored in various horror pastiche episodes of The Simpsons and I loved those. But what if it was done with more realism?
I may do more of these.

Source: Post Apocalyptic Street (by Antonio Figueiredo - ArtStation)

I got inspired to create this scene after playing the game The Last of Us, it's an amazing game with awesome art style.
I tried to capture the somber mood that the game has in this scene, making it feel like the street has been abandoned for years and humans are long gone, only remnants of their existence remain and nature is starting to consume them.

Usually this gets posted in December but it's getting a little dense so I thought I'd send it out into the world now. Just a collection of individual pieces of work from across the year!
