I'd point out it's a little late for that, but I guess it's one of the two missed deadlines.

They were at first, and if you find someone going on about Monero they still might be, but most of the crypto bubble was the dumber, less successful finance bros trying to go to the moon or whatever. They don't actually understand crypto, they just use buzzwords to try to sell it to people.
Just because it sucks, doesn't mean it isn't true. The simple fact of the matter is that the statements "The Democrats are supporting a genocidal regime in Israel." and "If Trump becomes president Netanyahu will destroy Rafah and expand the violence into the West Bank." are not mutually exclusive statements. Taking a simple quick action to prevent one does not stop me from fighting the other. In fact, doing nothing to stop the worse case is supporting genocide. There will be more genocide if we all do nothing, and I have never seen any leftist actually suggest taking any action here on Lemmy. It's never about doing anything. It's always about what not to do. If that's all you've got, then you've already failed.
So why won't you do anything for the people who are still alive, then?
You are explicitly pro more death.
You cannot make me sit idly by and do nothing while innocents die.

See, the difference between me and you is that I care about the people who are still alive, not just the ones who are dead. I'm not okay with letting millions of innocent people die just so I don't have to "support genocide". I'm sure your conscience is more important than their lives though.
I'm sure if Trump wins it will be of great comfort to the millions more Palestinians dying in the genocide that their deaths will be useful to your smug sense of superiority.
The idea that fascists might still be wearing America's corpse long after it's dead does not in fact make me feel any better. Honestly, I doubt they'll be able to keep it together anywhere near that long, but it might last longer than I do, which is bad enough. Not that I much want to be around for the self-destruction, either.
Here's to hoping that the Democrats can win and keep this country limping along until someone better comes around. At this point that's the best hope this dumpster fire has left.
I get that the official Arch forums are a cesspool, but outside of that I see about a thousand times more people complaining about Arch users than I do actual toxic Arch users. It's getting kinda tedious and unfunny at this point.
Look, I agree with everything you just said, but I don't think you've really thought about the implications of how you first said it. Our options are find a way to make peaceful protesting and voting work, fight soon and definitely lose, or wait until the US is collapsing, fight then, almost certainly start the most deadly war in all of human history, and still have a pretty high chance of losing. As much as it has been frustrating and unproductive so far, the first option is still the best for a whole bunch of reasons. Saying that protesting is useless and we'll have to fight is not a good idea. Maybe it will come to that, but we should be doing everything we can to prevent it, not egg it on.
Fiber doesn't actually have any nutritional value. It functionally just scrubs your intestines when you eat it. If you don't have enough fiber it can cause very weird digestive issues as strange things build up in your guts.
