At least Unity should remove retroactive effect from their new pricing terms. Then negotiation with users would start.

Not at this time, but since Visual Studio runs on both Mac and Linux, it could happen in the future.

Because mech has rigid body and gamedev likes controlling rigid body

I'm now interested in UPBGE, a fork from Blender with game engine. It seems useful for learning modeling and gamedev.

I think the reason beginners want to use Unity is because that is what they will need as professional game developers. But if professional game developers stop using Unity, then there is no reason to use Unity, no matter how beginner-friendly pricing it is.

Thankful to communities, building dev env on Linux is easier than that on Windows.

I'm learning PWA (Progressive Web Apps) which is just HTML+JS web page installable on Android. About MAUI I've tried last year and felt it's growing technology and difficult to layout UI parts (tend to force WinUI flavor on default).
