Not old, but retro in a way, Playdate is a pretty fun machine to play with and if you want you can end up selling in their catalog (online shop both for browser and console). I have wanted to start doing something for it for the last year (im a game desginer) but i havent coded in like 5 years at this point and work leaves me exhausted to learn new stuff.

Thats so cool! I love seeing projects to bring old consoles and emulators online. Whish i still had my dreamcast.

Don't want to do spam! but we are a small studio and we are trying to get a bit of attention to our next game, its an inventory management auto battler set in a world of sci fi parodies of big franchises, so if anyone wants to give it a try it will be really appreciated. Thank you guys! https://store.steampowered.com/app/2994150/Konfronto/

We have just been working on the game for the last five-six months after our last game was cancelled so it can be a bit rough around the edges but we think its a fair bit of fun so hopefully you can enjoy it too

A boring distopia is already even a single person having more than a single billion.

Which artifact was damaged? Because even in your link the article says:

"The New York Times’ ran an article titled “Climate Activists Throw Mashed Potatoes on Monet Painting,” further describing it in the subtitle as “the latest attack on widely admired art.” However, it is not until the fifth paragraph that the article notes that “the food did not cause any damage to the piece.” This raises the question, does the public differentiate between “damaging pieces of art” and “pretending to damage pieces of art” in their views of these non-violent, disruptive protests?

Also comparing having to make people understand the degree of damage we get from climate change vs christianity, its just an amazing analogy lol, what can i even say after that?. Have a nice day, i think you really need it.

The worse part is that they started with a plain wrong argument, this is not to attract the attention of billionaires, altough it can too. This is to catch the attention of everyone, to create a higher mass that is needed to change something, and tbh they are making more people aware of the issues, even if they get some stupid arguments against them when they are really doing no real harm as far as im aware.

Maybe it would be safer in a more known freelancer platform like Fiverr? Im sure there are problems with that one too, but im also sure she will have more protection than in an unknown one.

edit: they even have already a category for video editing fiverr.com/categories/video-animation/video-editing

No, i'm pretty sure im also against AI. Im against artist not being paid for their work and being replaced by subpar machine learning regurgitating their art without any sense

I know, i did read them, it just seems absurd to keep a review up that tells people to buy them, and also at the same time do an article that talks about how those consoles are hurting the retro scene and you shouldnt buy them

Im from Spain, but even with the latest updates i still cant seem to uninstall Edge, anyone has an idea? thought that the updates to be DMA compliant was already available

I have been thinking about this, there are some videogames i usually revisit every year or so like some older Fable and AC games. I dont reread comics that much, outside some outstanding issues like The brave and the mold from Tom King's Batman or Lemire's Green Arrow, but those have been more occasional rereadings more than a yearly ritual.

I dont read much (if any) european comics, but this one catched my interested, its on my local library but not avalaible currently so im waiting on it, opinions? It reminded me of Assasins Creed which i used to love, specially the french comics like the Ankh of Isis Trilogy and Hawk Trilogy

Seems like Turtle beach is entering the simracing market. Seems like a decent deal for 650$ for base+wheel+pedals+buttons
