There are a lot of (albeit impressive) rhetorical smokes screens I'm choosing not to engage with, but there are many interesting points of conversation to be had here.

Staying on topic here:

so, no. I don’t think the kind of “sex change surhery on minors” you’re talking about should be banned. it generally isn’t a thing, and sometimes it’s a good thing.

This is an interesting take. If it's sometimes a good thing, why does it matter whether or not it's generally a thing? And, what evidence do you have that allowing them to be legal tends to do more good than harm?

Nice! That's a reasonable stance, I think most people are probably where you're at as well (I guess that's redundant, it reflects in the poll after all)

So you'd support banning them?

The Lemmy devs? I'm aware of this. I'm a right winger and that doesn't affect me nearly as much as the far left communities of Lemmy users.

The features are all I care about. Eventually I'll find the right people here and be able to build the communities I want.

Lemmy works really well with Lotide

I'm not sure what that even means. Does that mean it's right wing? If software can even be right wing or left wing.

So is it a fork of Lemmy?

How long is the education secretary gonna be there if we're getting rid of the department of education?

In the Epic Games Store? They removed them some time ago. Not sure why.

Good grief that sounds horrible. I don't want the government to be in charge of what gets preserved and what doesn't.

I'd say it's worth it for casual use! It's mostly working for me for dedicated use as well. You can do a lot with a mini machine.

I suspect you'll be happy with what I bought. It only costs $100 and is small enough to be tucked behind my trash can without incident.
