Not to say that Disney hasn't mishandled this IP, but Star Wars had bad content before Disney bought it, and has since released projects better than anything Lucasfilm did with it.

The wide variances in quality aren't doing the reputation of Star Wars any favors.

I like to think that he forgets, keeps trying and then makes a new post about it

Based on what was included in the article, it sounds like they've noticed that the female Secret Service agents have been criticized as "DEI hires", so they're thinking that if the agency goes back to hiring based on qualifications and merit, the female agents won't be criticized or derided as much.

Why are they doing this instead of more seasons?

You're right, but not how you think

Didn't Kbin get replaced by Mbin?

Ah, I grew up listening to Adventures In Odyssey and one character said that all the time. Beautiful word.

It's weird that they don't want to call them channels. They mention that in the article. Maybe it's because that would force them to pay more royalties to the folks in each show and movie that gets aired.

I mean some sort of live component is the way to go, IMHO, but I think in the end it'd looks something like ESPN+, where instead of channels, new episodes premiere with their own livestream and they are treated like events. That way the entire fanbase/audience experiences the show together at the same time, similar to how it used to work with TV.
