BvS is one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen, surpassed only by Suicide Squad

I can't imagine how that's true unless you don't watch many movies. The first Suicide Squad movie is pretty bad but it's nowhere near how bad a movie can be.

I mostly disagree although I think Lex is miscast. He's not too young, but I think he's too small.

I think "the American way" is fine if Clark is depicted as someone who's lived in America all his life and loves America, but esp. if you're skipping that origin story (like this movie is), it does feel a bit odd to have an alien from a different planet so focused on the values of just one of the countries of Earth.

The first one was pretty bad although there was some stuff I liked about it.

The only iterations of Superman I've seen were the Snyderverse and LEGO Movie versions, neither of which used that theme.

I love how triumphant this soundtrack is. This should be a treat.

Seems like the whole thing is in IMAX too, which would be cool.

Maybe it depends on which Fox News articles you read. They vary wildly from hard news to hard right punditry. I find most Post Millennial articles to be more biased on average, but a lot less sensational and editorial as well.
