There are people in academia now that just publish bullshit incomprehensible papers that may be wrong just to justify continuing funding and not rock the boat. It keeps them employed and paid. I belive this person discussed this
Id rather see active communities on other servers than everyone congregating on .world
You reply with that to everything. You went out of your way to put "all it good faith" on your profile, so it seems you get in trouble a lot for bad faith arguments. And yet every time you respond to someone with any criticism, you say they're arguing in bad faith. Projecting much?
It doesnt seem like continuing to talk with you will get anywhere because you dont want to do any introspection. You just want to blame everyone else and play the victim. Enjoy your block.
You literally found a dude in these comments that gave you the benefit of the doubt, and argued with him until gave up. You keep sealioning and playing the victim.
Checking his modlog, he was starting fights. If everywhere you go smells like shit...
~~Although it doesn't have the same negative affect on~~ men, ~~they~~ can spread it to other people. Its important for everone to get vaccinated against it. I got it because my doctor offered it out of the blue, but I probably wouldn't have thought to go out of my way to get it. I'm considering going to get 1) a measles booster and 2) flu vaccine (last years if they havent put out an updated one given trump and rfk)
There are probably just going to be more people dropping trash on the floor instead of a bin
Car also failed a number of tasks simulating realistic situations that another car did not
If you bothered to look at the source.
It depends. For local elections, there are many places where people run unopposed, exclusively vote down party lines or reelect the incumbent. These are places where independents and new parties have the chance to dip their toes in. There are areas around me with independents elected. There are several senators and congressmen who have been elected as or switched to independent. While independent is an option, strong ties to the local community, and a cohesive message that justifies peoples anger and fears has potential for local elections within counties and states for small parties
Realistically its about having an organization to set a positive agenda, bring awareness to politicians that have good policies and legislation that would otherwise get swept under the rug, and organize people to get things done.
For example, Brad Lander is running for Mayor in NY, and has a great track record. Yet the rapist Cuomo has gained widespread support simply on name recognition.
AOC is leading polls in being most demonstrative of the party politics for the democrats, above other politicians like biden and kamala, because thats what people want to see. But they only know about her because she is often picked up by the news.
People want to do something but dont know what to do. Opening a local party or organization to target your local elections may be a good idea, even if you dont run a candidate there. Simply boosting an existing democratic or progressive candidate may be enough to tip the scales.
Independents stand a chance to win in certain local elections, but a more coordinated effort is needed to sway the average person who doesn't pay attention to the news. That means a new party or coalition of small existing parties, or taking over the democratic party
Putting differences aside to form a cohesive front is the plan, however the infighting with democratic leadership like chuck schumer is not avoidable - time hasnt just passed him by, he is actively siding with republicans and beholden to corporate interests.
It might prevent them from voting too
