I'll have to check my math again. But are people uploading more than that? On my friend server, with 50 people, we've had about a dozen uploads all year, and they're all pretty small PDFs and images. Everything else is rich links.

Do it, Donald.

Call Richard Bruce Cheney a RINO.

I need the laugh today.

That's....remarkable.

I'm not saying that would be a better experience for players, just that if they wanted it to succeed they should probably have done more marketing.

I'm not entirely oblivious to gaming news, but the literal first I had ever heard of this game was when they announced that it was being shut down. Methinks after eight years of development it could've had a few more dollars tossed into the marketing budget.

You don't need to add the layer of separation:

When you're not able to denounce ~~people who promote~~ actual Nazis you're way outside the realm of what's acceptable.

If you promote a Nazi, you're a Nazi. I call it the transitive property of Naziism.

Not yet. Floorp and Midori are on my list to try out, but I just haven't had a chance to go through the setup and conversion process yet. Maybe someday.

Vertical tabs, ActivityPub, and RSS yes; but while Sidebery makes tabs vertical, it can't actually do grouping on the existing tab bar. Actually, no add-on can touch the tab bar (other than getting rid of it, I think; though that just might be via userchrome css). If they opened up the tab bar for add-ons to fiddle with, I am sure that a decent tab grouping add-on would come out in minutes.

I'm apparently an old curmudgeon about tabs being on the top of the screen, so anything that moves the tabs to the sidebar is kind of a nonstarter for me. I think it's because I like to use my computer with multiple applications open side-by-side (or with a browser open on a vertical monitor), for which vertical tabs would take over too much real estate.

Anyway, they said they're working on tab grouping, so hopefully in that process they also give some more capabilities in that realm to add-ons.

Yeah, I think it said that it would only do it for playing videos, so if you have "don't autoplay" active, I would assume it wouldn't pop it out.

But I haven't tried it yet.

Every single one of them look like their eyes are about to roll right out of their heads.

I had 2FA enabled for lemmy.world before the big update this past weekend, and when I logged out/in this morning I discovered that 2FA had been turned off for my account. I've got it turned back on and I think it's working now, but just a heads up that if you had 2FA enabled you might need to re-enable it.

In the latest Messages for Android Beta, scheduled send is broken due to a date validation bug. It won't let you schedule messages after today's date number in any month. So, for instance, today's date is 29 November, 2023; it won't allow any messages to be scheduled in December unless they're scheduled on the 29th, 30th, or 31st. Also, it won't allow any messages to be scheduled in 2024, for what I assume are similar reasons.

Reverting to the latest stable version fixes it and allows messages to be scheduled for any future date.
