I think predicting the end of money is extremely optimistic.

Oh, yeah, if they love it in the episode, that doesn't make sense.
I was following that. Nate was saying 71.4% chance for Clinton (just checked again) when basically all of the rest of the media was treating it like 99%. Effectively he was the one suggesting she might actually lose. (Even if it still didn't seem likely)
Just to add to your point, as far as I can find, the entire European Union is only about 4.3 million sq. km.
If Spain were added as a 51st US State it would be the 3rd largest, between Texas and California. Same with France (largest in the EU), but it's much closer to overtaking 2nd place. I had no idea those countries were so large.
Still, we have 50 of those country sized areas.
I buy it.
Sure humans tend to integrate music into nearly everything we do, but even here on earth as far as I can think of at the moment it's just us, birds, and whales. I'm sure there're a few more examples, but the vast majority of life on earth (including other sentient life) doesn't have much if any appreciation for or ability to create music. (Dogs howling back at us somewhat rhythmically in YouTube clips is at best a borderline case.)
The further pondering about the arts for the species in question is anyone's guess I assume. I don't remember this episode.
I don't see evidence in the article that it even is 'their software' being discussed here - just a framework they are suggesting for compositors to have new functionality (regardless of GPU brands).
It even says "They aren't going into this alone but at this year's DisplayNext Hackfest it was also backed up by AMD for going a similar route."
Rate or dmg?
Seconding Annihilation. Was going to suggest it if nobody else did.
Something fishy about that office.
Oh yeah, I should get to bed soon.
... Is that the Smith Tower?
(To see it on Android I shared the link, and from the share dialog I could open it in ImgurViewer)
I also read the announcement (and FAQ, and other pages) but was still hoping someone would comment on what it is exactly.
(I did guess along the right lines at least, but wasn't really sure)
