I only came to the comments to see if people were discussing the picture lol.

I can think of so many memes to 'improve'.

Grab Om-by-da Pussy

I can understand patch updates, but what else are the devs doing?

For now, these pics of tits and boobys will have to do

Always hilarious to me how the fastest way to gain trust is to be transparent. It's almost like those two are linked somehow.

I don't need an app to tell me what's a tit and what's a booby

Not sure why, but this is what TV Time looks like for me. It's the same now as when I tried two weeks ago.

I'll start.

Two weeks ago I started using Trakt. It's a website/app designed to keep track of shows and movies you've watched, and gives you a list of which episode is available to watch next which updates as new episodes are released.

A lot of other similar websites I tried don't have everything cataloged (some done have anime, while sites like Letterboxd only do movies).

Recommendations function is pretty horrible though and they lock basic filtering functionality behind a subscription, but it's still pretty good for what I need it for.

It also gives you stats for your total watch time. Which is now 192 days.. Not including reruns.. So maybe it's double that. I don't know whether to be disappointed in myself or proud.

Some of those jets are obviously obstructing the runway path. Whoever organized this photo op didn't consider logistics important.

I dunno man, doing both at once is amazing

The show feels like its fucking with me. I don't understand a lot of the references, but those times are like watching a crackhead dance for loose change.

The alien-cat will always be my favorite moment

She's ready eating off a plate lol. I say bowl as a colloquial term. She really has nothing to complain about other than my lack of immediate attention.

It's what I'm doing now. Although it's really hard sometimes. I'm frequently busy at my computer, and ignoring her means she'll walk all over my desk and stare at me for a few minutes which is very frustrating.

Obviously I'm trying not to encourage her annoying behaviors, but sometimes I don't have the time to be patient.

She's five years old now and developed an annoying habit within the past six months.

Until now, she's eaten her food by herself when hungry, but she's gotten into the habit of wanting her food to be 'prepared'.

Basically, I'll be working at my computer and she'll come into my computer room, jump up on my desk, sit and meow at me, reach up and touch my leg with her paw, or just sit at the door and stare at me to get my attention.

Then, she'll lead me to her food and ask me to do prepare it. If I pick up the plate and shake it, or simply move her dry kibbles around with my hand, then dinner's ready!

So, evidently, the issue isn't with the food itself. I suspect it's a social habit, but it's driving me a bit nutty.

I've moved the food bowl into my computer room so she can eat and be social with me, but it isn't enough, she still wants me to prep her food.

Sometimes she doesn't even want me to prep her food, simply gesturing to leave the chair will prompt her to begin eating (though sometimes not).

If I ignore her she'll eventually start eating after a few minutes, but it's annoying.

If anyone knows a way to break this habit and encourage my daughter to regain her independence and self-autonomy, I'll be eternally grateful.

For a few years I used dark mode because i thought it was better for your eyes; it isn't.

When in dark mode, you're looking at an overall darker screen, your pupils will dilate to let in more light, which makes everything just outside of focus very blurry, and gives the text a halo effect. A few minutes will be fine, but anything longer is going to make your eyes begin to strain.

When in light mode, your pupils contract to accommodate for the light, this is how our eyes are supposed to work, this is going to be less straining on your eyes. In low light environments, simply turn down the brightness and apply a night light filter.

If you're going to use dark mode regardless, don't use AMOLED unless it's for saving battery. The contrast between bright white and pitch black is the worst combination. Consider using a soft grey, your eyes will thank you.

Old habits die hard, but there's Reddiquette which needs to be revived, and some which needs to die.

Many "golden-age" redditors remember a time when downvoting was reserved for hostility, not a different opinion. For the sake of our growing community I would like to implore everyone to be awesome to each other.

However, this place is not Reddit.

  • We don't measure in bananas here.
  • We don't need to append "edit: typo" to edited posts and comments.
  • if you see something which is worthy of a downvote: down vote and move on! Don't engage with it and feed the algorithm/engament machine so other people are exposed to it when sorting by active.
