I guess we just have a fundamental difference in our understanding and opinions on what a multiplayer PVP game should be

if someone can't handle their emotions after getting Ferrari peeked, should they really be playing a competitive game?

the mind games are the fun, playing against your opponent is all about getting in their head and positing is ways that they don't expect

the forum thing tends to go along the same way, people like the games for the things they like and changes them is always gonna be controversial

I don't really understand your idea/question.

if the server doesn't download anything from any other server you as a user will not be able to see any of the content from federated servers. when you request a feed your instance gives you the list of posts that it knows about

there's two possibilities for this wifi blocking:

  1. it's setup to only allow whitelisted devices, in this case you're fucked, only option is to pretend to be some whitelisted device
  2. it's a blacklist, in this case changing your mac address will make you appear to be a new device, anyone monitoring the device list could see the unknown device appear

you need the whole line to be like Exec=/usr/bin/env GDK_SCALE=2 /usr/bin/steam %U

I was just being lazy as I was on mobile at the time

/usr/bin/steam should be a link to /usr/bin/steam-runtime aswell

you'd need to set the environment variables, that exec command is trying to run a program named GDK_SCALE, instead it should be like Exec=/usr/bin/env GDK_SCALE...

the two steam options are to choose between using the systems provided libraries and the ones that ship with steam, I recommend using the steam runtime rather than native

I'm so glad I stopped updating the app, I am lucky to still have the recently played at the top of my home page and then daily mixes right below it, I have to scroll to see the nonsense
