Couple days ago I came across a gem, I was searching why RDP client didn't start, and the official Microsoft support gave a line that looked suspicious, the following comment was something along the lines of "this made my pc unbootable, had to reinstall windows, this fixed it"

This, my dad refuses to download proton or lutris and prefers to use wine baseline, and he has been waiting for months now for his game to be playable again, meanwhile I'm over here installing games right and left and just playing them, even newly released games, it just works (most of the time)

I have this exact same monitor (also Samsung) it is driving me nuts, I have VERY poor vision making the light at night shine 500x brighter, I've contemplated putting a sticker on it

Most of the people just care for "the hot new thing" some just dislike twitter more, some are forced by friends to use it (me :( )

Is kinda weird seeing so many people on Lemmy just do not trust any data from social media.

The things of the fediverse is that everything is too complicated, seeing my friends signups for Threads they just downloaded 1 app, and max 7 clicks and they made an account, they thought Mastodon was too hard to use :(

It is an extension called "auto tab discard" which will hibernate the tab when not used for x (configurable) minutes. It helps with ram and CPU especially with "busy" sites

I legit had to put down the polling speed, I put it down to 1/10 of what it used to be and behold, no more lagg in specifically Minecraft
