Your instance does need to know about these communities existing first though. For recently created communities on another instance that might not be the case. Which is where services like Lemmy Explorer help.

The fact that their title registration is "Lost World", not "Avatar: Lost World" or "ATLA: Lost World".

The waiting list is still very long at this point. Probably don't expect to get in for like 2 weeks...

Despite the directing switcheroo it seems like McKenna and Sommers are once again writing the script, so I expect a similar quality to the last three movies. Which is promising.

Eh.. no? Most free press is privately owned. Just not by billionaires who influence the content.

This is a (micro-)cultural thing. Common for some groups of people, really uncommon for others.

They might even drop "Avatar" from the movie title completely this time around in order to avoid confusion with the blue alien guys

I liked Lilia as a character before this episode, I love her now. Did not expect her to get an episode like this.

Did also not expect such a queer episode. From Agatha's "you want a straight answer? Ask a straight woman" to Billy's "I guess I'm the queer-ent".

Interesting time-tripping parallels to Loki season 2, but done in a very different way and more out-of-comfort-zone for Marvel. I really hope the studio gave Jac Schaeffer creative freedom for the last episode, as opposed to Wandavision.

"We're not cool, teenager" - "Damn, using his full name" 😂

Yeah, I wonder if anyone was able to get them into the correct order before this episode. Because the fact that "Alice, don't" goes in front of "try to save Agatha" was quite mind-opening. Really great jobs by the writers that they managed to connect all this cohesively.

The antifascist film ends with this impassioned speech to the audience opposing all forms of oppression.

Secondo me Hubzilla dovrebbe finire nell'ultimo percentile, mentre Bonfire andrebbe fatto usare solo a chi ha superato l'esame per la MIT Bonfire Advanced Certification User... 😂

“It’s become really convenient to pick on [Marvel films],” Sebastian Stan said. “And that’s fine. Everyone’s got an opinion. But they’re a big part of what contributes to this business and allows us to have smaller movies as well. This is an artery traveling through the system of this entire machinery that’s Hollywood. It feeds in so many more ways than people acknowledge.”

“Sometimes I get protective of it because the intention is really fucking good,” Stan added at the time. “It’s just fucking hard to make a good movie over and over again.”

Stan’s Bucky/Winter Soldier will be front and center in next year’s Marvel tentpole “Thunderbolts,” and he hopes the character stays around long enough to meet Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom on the big screen.

“I hope I’m in a scene with him,” Stan says. “Is there any other guy that could pull that off? I don’t know, probably not. After ‘Tropic Thunder,’ is there anything that guy can’t do?”

An upcoming issue of Scarlet Witch’s current solo comic series will have this special "Marvel Studios Variant Cover" utilizing concept art of Kathryn Hahn’s portrayal of Agatha Harkness.

It’s been six years since Steve Rodgers handed over Captain America reigns to Sam Wilson, Aka The Falcon, in “Avengers: Endgame.” Wilson (Anthony Mackie) will be the lead of Julius Onah’s “Captain America: Brave New World.” A trailer was released in the summer.

Two different cuts of the film test screened last week, and plot details for one of the cuts have leaked online. The person who attended didn’t seem to like the movie all that much.

Based on the folks I’ve spoken to, those who attended were either given a red or green bracelet and were split up into two different theaters. The reactions I’ve heard have not been very kind to this movie, which is being described as “inessential” and “flat.”

...

Reshoots on ‘Brave New World’ happened in August. This could explain why two different cuts were shown. Last year, after receiving negative test scores in another screening, and Marvel themselves underwhelmed by an early cut they saw of the film, ‘Brave New World’ was delayed to February 2025. Extensive reshoots were called, with “three major action sequences” having been filmed, between May and August 2024 in Atlanta.

‘Brave New World’ had originally wrapped filming in June 2023, and was set for a July 2024 release date, but it’s now turned into this monstrous mess for Marvel. You just don’t push a movie this big out of your calendar, and then decide to dump it in February, unless major trouble is brewing.

Last December, Matthew Orton was hired by Marvel to pen “additional scenes and material”. Orton’s work was shot during this summer’s reshoots. They’ve also added new characters to the story. Will audiences even show up to a Captain America movie that doesn’t star Chris Evans?

Better late than never?

The show has also risen to be the #1 streamed show on Disney+ on the US market only.

Who would have thought a show about witches during halloween season would be watched a lot? ;)
