spoilerIn the first episode, Agatha tries to find out about the relevance of the book "Dialogue And Rhetoric Known History of Learning & Debate" by Andrew Ugo to the death of Jane Doe.

Of course, it turns out that the book name initials spell DARKHOLD and that Jane Doe is Agatha's visualization of Wanda's death.

But the name of that author, Andrew Ugo? It isnt stated in the show. Turns out it is an anagram of Wundagore.

It makes perfect sense because the Darkhold is a copy of the etched walls of Mount Wundagore.

Potentially there are still other easter eggs. For example, the raven sits on a letter of a sign when it is shown, which could tie in with something else?

@[email protected] called it in the Ep01 discussion thread, it is a direct reference/homage. Fandom.com put this clip together.

This clip has no relevant spoilers for the show btw

The Agatha changes in the OTA are pretty cool, check out this list. The early goal is to drop Black Knight if you can, let Agatha play domino, and hopefully you can play non knight (if no ghost rider in hand), or sif/wave otherwise... Then follow up with ghost rider and ebony blade!

should we have a pinned discussion thread? I am excited for a weekly release with a mystery to untangle.

From what I can figure out he's not in the comic books. And apparently James Gunn did make a short film about this that never got released. But this is mentioned as Groot's associates in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 1. So yeah it seems like this is only a character for the movie and not anywhere in the comic books. But it's a origin story for how Rocket and Groot met in the movie a origin story we may never see. We can know that Rocket's gun is made out of Tibius Lark's parts but we don't know what he looks like. I would actually like to see the origin story to how Rocket and Groot met in the movies but yeah I don't think James Gunn is going to work on it cause he already scrapped that so it would be hard to try from scratch.

Please note: Disney/Marvel have neither announced nor confirmed the release date. As always, release dates are subject to change.

Marvel Studios’ untitled Vision series will be a follow-up series to its acclaimed WandaVision (and connect to Agatha All Along).

The new show is eying a shoot in England in early 2025.

Terry Matalas, the much-heralded showrunner of Star Trek: Picard, is spearheading the new show.

Only Paul Bettany (White Vision) and James Spader (Ultron) have been announced so far.

"So if there’s a good way to use her I’m always happy to come back, however they can make that make sense,” Olsen admitted.

"(...) I just need more, other characters in my life. There’s no longevity in one character.”

Produced by Kevin Feige and Louis D'Esposito from a script by Jack Schaeffer and Megan McDonnell. Elizabeth Olsen reprises her role as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch. No director is attached yet. Release date TBA.

~~Paywalled article, but I copy-pasted from someone who has access:~~

~~If Beyond the Spider-Verse was hitting theaters next summer, we would’ve heard about it by now, as Sony would’ve assigned it a release date.~~

~~2026 seems perfectly doable, but I’m told that it would be extremely unlikely that Sony would want to release an animated Spider-Man movie and a live-action Spider-Man movie in the same calendar year, as the studio is better off staggering those two franchises.~~

~~So not only is 2027 more likely for that reason alone, but over Labor Day Weekend, I heard that Sony scrapped most of Beyond the Spider-Verse for creative reasons, and because of that decision, the movie would be unlikely to debut before 2027 given the detailed animation it requires.~~

~~While the Beyond the Spider-Verse team was taken aback by the change in direction, I’m told they’re relieved to have more time to work on the sequel, as it’s important to all involved that they stick the landing on this Oscar-winning franchise.~~

UPDATE: This information may not be accurate. Daniel Pemberton, composer of the first two Spider-Verse movies, had this to say:

Don’t really ever want to weigh in on this sort of stuff BUT would you ever believe there could sometimes be stuff on the internet that might not always be particularly accurate? Hmmmm…
