The youtube channel is about investing and startups, of course hype is included. It generates clicks.

The company Promixa Fusion is serious though and has very promising technology. Their peer reviewed paper on a stellarator based fusion power plant looks solid.

My girlfriend has arthritis. She is often in pain, needs regular stretches and massages to get through a day. Her state varies. Some days he's fit, out, and about like a healthy person for hours. Towards the evening though, she can be very slow to get up the stairs. She has difficulties carrying heavy things and is pretty short to boot. She has a couple of other health problems as well. However, her charm and enthusiasm are outstanding. She has the ability to make everybody smile and encourages other people's ideas. Her skills in teaching meditation are also impressive. Personality can offset looks and physical deficiencies.

hyperindividualism, and that anyone who shares my values

The solution to this is community. If you join a community and demonstrate your ability to be useful, you will gain status and prove your worth as a partner.

lacking confidence

It's possible to develop that using personal mental spiritual development, as well as learning skills. Progress in these areas will help your confidence. You just have to put in the time to learn and practice.

in my early 20s

You're still young. I met the love of my life in my 40s.

It takes a little getting use to for sure. There are some quirks as well. The mobile app is also only somewhat polished.

These are not my favorite, but worth a try.

  • Apple Maps. For non Apple platforms, you can use DuckDuckGo to search for something and then click on maps on top. That gives you Apple Maps in the browser. It can provide directions as well.
  • Yandex.com/maps also is an option
  • Waze is great for driving and navigating

For reviews, I guess yelp and similar are an option.

Sure. What's the mechanism of the adverse effects? Alcohol is always bad. Is it just extra taxing on the liver? Or is something specific going on?

cita/escita are a bad mix with alcohol

How bad though?

Proxima Fusion, a European fusion energy startup, has introduced Stellaris, which the company said is the world’s first integrated concept for a commercial fusion power plant designed for continuous, reliable operation. Published in Fusion Engineering and Design, it uses advanced computational optimization, high-temperature superconducting (HTS) magnets and quasi-isodynamic (QI) stellarator technology to bring fusion energy near to commercialization, the company said.

Stellaris builds on the results of the Wendelstein 7-X (W7-X) research experiment in Germany, the most advanced QI stellarator prototype in the world, directed by the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics and the product of over €1.3 billion (about $1.4 billion) in funding from the German Federal Government and the European Union.

With Alpha, its prototype stellarator, Proxima Fusion is poised to show net fusion energy by 2031. In an interview with EE Times, Proxima Fusion CEO Francesco Sciortino remarked a clear road towards fusion on the grid over the next decade, addressing European energy security and worldwide energy needs.

I'm currently in danger of being evicted because of unpaid rent. It fucking sucks.

How big a military power is Russia actually? The IISS and the Financial Times recently claimed that Russia's military spending is bigger than all of Europe's combined. Others say that Russia is a mediocre power with an economic potential comparable to Italy. Which is true?

I dissect the numbers and explain the significance of purchasing power when comparing defense spending. On one hand, the IISS numbers are problematic, but on the other hand, Europe is still in deep trouble and needs to increase defense spending dramatically.

For three quarters of a century, the NATO alliance has been a fixture of European and North American security. Now however, the allies are embroiled in a very public split and the call by some European leaders has been for more defence independence from the USA.

Today, we look at some of the military capabilities the rest of NATO have, what independence might mean, and some of the economic, technical, and political barriers to achieving it.
