The kids use it instead of “i swear to god”. Just to be different I guess.

I mean it is kind of weird that “rare” is used to denote “barely cooked”, when it usually means “very scarce or hard to find”.

This again? They don’t have a legal responsibility, it’s just if the CEO isn’t making investors money, he could get ousted.

Every time this view point is parroted, they either imply or outright state the company will be sued/break the law because they didn’t do their best to make money. Notice how they used words like “need”, “swearing an oath”, etc. I’ve seen it time and time again on here and on Reddit, it’s tiresome at this point. The companies are just greedy, and know they can pretty much get away with stuff like this, end of story.

You can assume all you want, just don’t preorder based on that assumption.

Downvoting you because this is factually incorrect. They WANT the profit, but it’s not illegal to not make a certain amount of profit, that’s silly.

Shows how little you respect women that you’ll not only cheat on them, but also not face the consequences when you get caught. Very fucked up.

When i was in HS, this restaurant in town opened a new arcade room, which had some of those machines. I eventually found out it could take pennies, so I used like the ten or so I had and got a few tickets. Then I planned a scheme to go to the bank, get a roll of pennies, and win big time. Well, by the time I came back like a week later, they fixed the machine and it no longer took pennies :( must have saw the pennies I put in and freaked out.

It’s obviously making fun of those types.

Yeah why would the managers feel easy if their workers are apparently continuing to work hard up until they quit?

Anytime I go shopping, especially at Costco or Target, there will be at least one person coughing in the open, no mask or anything. I make a beeline away from them as fast as I can, but sometimes I just wish I could yell at these people for being selfish idiots…
