McDonald's(and others) used to sell promo glasses that might have looked like this. My LOTR goblets I think were from Burger King.

Living near an airport that the National Guard uses makes a not unusual event. Air shows too.
The difference may also be how the business is structured. Personal vs a corporation (LLC or otherwise).
