If you can program, then there are remote jobs (although they are competitive) that can pay well. I dont want to dox myself, but the company I work for as a software engineer is trans-friendly and remote. What kind of experience do you have? I can try to submit a referral for you

This isn't even true though. Hiring is done by people who have implicit biases and subconscious preferences. When a hiring committee has no diversity, the people hired tend to be less diverse than the average.

I think it's a combination of incentives, tariffs, and market research that claims that Americans prefer big expensive SUVs. I'm sad about it though
