Most likely written by a computer indexer, but i agree, it's cooler to imagine a employee writing labels all day and finally arrived to this and then just quit their job.
Have lost the cover so we took the cover from an other remote that has the same cover but we don't use that remote, lost that one too, now we have taped the battery in place and need to replace the tape regularly..
Until someone trains a model (and it will happen) that match or outperform GPT4 and i can run i locally, i will use this to experiment and prototype random stuff that i find interesting ^^
Edit; a big difference here too is that Reddit just fetch data from an database, it's just as expensive as the main site and app while GPT is generative and use quite lot of RAM and VRAM per action.

programming.dev is thriving but we are also a niche, lots of good communities for developers.
This is called soft delete, if they are a EU resident, they can claim GDPR and get it all wiped, getting "forgotten" is a right.
I just block communities that is to spammy or annoying, the thing with a open source decentralize platform is that you need to drag the sliders yourself to your liking.

Depends on how they store the comments, IP is within GDPR, but even then, I will just claim that i have posted personal information on comments so it still applies. If the comment is connected to my user in anyway, it's GDPR..

Oh god, i didn't know what jailbait was and just tried to look it up on Reddit but couldn't find anything, i thought it was some kind of "bad prank" stuff to bait others into doing illegal stuff..
