Nice one! That could bring in a fair bit of traffic, so it would be great to get this done.
Maybe we can add some community rules and a link to the Godot code of conduct to ensure it’s followed here: https://godotengine.org/code-of-conduct/
Welcome to the programming.dev Godot community!
This is a place where you can discuss about anything relating to the Godot game engine. Feel free to ask questions, post tutorials, show off your godot game, etc.
Make sure to follow the Godot CoC while chatting
We have a matrix room that can be used for chatting with other members of the community here
We have a four strike system in this community where you get warned the first time you break a rule, then given a week ban, then given a year ban, then a permanent ban. Certain actions may bypass this and go straight to permanent ban if severe enough and done with malicious intent

Added both to the sidebar
Good idea
Lemmy game made in godot coming soon?
What could that type of game look? I was instantly thinking about using the API to get live involvement from a Lemmy Thread into the game like Jabrils once did with the Twitch Interaction API https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ux6pbOCFueg
But I have no Idea if this would work or where to start here 😅
I just meant a game with a character similar to the lemmy logo but live involvement from a thread would be interesting
Good idea! And don’t forget about the fediverse jam starting this weekend! https://itch.io/jam/summer-fediverse-jam - a good opportunity to share wips and what not here
What are the rules around "longevity and spirit of the community"?
How long do we have to be around before our longevity is proven? How does one define "spiriti of the community", and how can we quantify whether we're meeting expectations?
Did they give you any metrics on this?
A suggestion for moderation is to perhaps suspend or ban anyone that displays zero-sum behavior
I'm gonna assume that most are collaborative and reciprocal however it might still be best to deter people that might toxify the community
