Just because I like to share positive things with Hexbear:

I finally got to Diamond rank in Street Fighter 6 today after decades of being too afraid to seriously try to get good at fighting games and I already know I'm gonna be riding this feeling all week.

So I was at the ER yesterday. After 15 minutes of testing and consultation, interspersed with about 3 hours of waiting, I was given 4 antibiotic pills and told to go to a pharmacy in the evening tonight to get the rest.
