Talking about Games that need to be FOSSified, I think it would be cool if we had FOSS clones of:-
- Plants vs Zombies
- Angry Birds
- Lonely Hacker
- Sim City (Any City-Building game)
For an Angry Birds clone, check out Apple Flinger
For a SimCity-like game, check out OpenTTD (Transport Tycoon Deluxe)
Not sure if someones mentioned it yet but unciv is civ V
Shattered Pixel Dungeon, popular roguelike (as in, actually like Rogue)
Mindustry, factory based sandbox tower defense (mobile Factorio)
How are the mobile controls?
Very frustrating for people with fingers.

Playable for sure, but in bigger battles its complicated to keep an overview over big maps
Honestly I much prefer playing on desktop, but it's playable on mobile if a bit frustrating.

A physics puzzle-game.
Join the sticky 'tetrominoes' to move a ball/box/car to the scoring zone.
Includes online leaderboard to view the solutions of players around the world. A faster finish with less total pieces is better.
Challenging and fun game, with a quality physics model.

lichess has finally published it's mobile version on f-droid.
droidfish is another great alternative chess game, though with no online component.

Luanti a game engine that runs an Open Source massively moddable Minecraft clone, among other games.
This one deserves a nice big bold underline, this project has already come such a far way!
Simon Tatham's Puzzles contains many classic puzzle games and many more that are destined to be future classics.
Pixel Dungeon a rogue-like that is very like Rogue.

Feudal Tactics, conquer-the-world strategy game with randomly-generated levels
Is it an Antiyoy clone?
Antiyoy is a nice little game, it just lacks some depth IMO.
Sometimes a bit too random. The start positions heavily influence the winning probability
Rabbit Escape, basically Lemmings with cute bunnies. Don't let them splat!

Sure
I've played a lot of Lato. It's a simple skiing game where you tap the screen to jump and can hold to rotate yourself in the air. There are rocks and pits to avoid and coins to collect.
Good for killing awkward amounts of time.
Chip Defense, an interesting and challenging take on tower defense.
I got really into chip defense. The concept is a really fun twist on classic enemy hp mechanisms in tower defense. However I think the game's controls design "scales" poorly with its difficulty curve. Building a new "tower" takes too many taps for the game to continue running in the background. Same for upgrading towers. The worst is when starting a level, you kind of need to rush placing towers to not mechanically end up in a fail state.
If the game let you build and upgrade when paused (or at least queue up those actions to be executed when un-paused) I would have continued playing it.

Thank you for this one, this is basically one of the games that I get advertised on Duolingo after completing a lesson (the "playable ad" kind) and it sucks me in every time. Nice to have a version that's FOSS.
Now, if someone would just implement a FOSS version of that "wooden screw puzzle" game I'd be over the moon.

A simple, fun math game with nice customization and difficulty settings.
