Summary

Rudy Giuliani appeared at a Florida polling station in a Mercedes convertible that a court ordered him to surrender as part of a $148 million defamation settlement with two Georgia poll workers, Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, whom he falsely accused of election fraud.

Giuliani has reportedly been evasive about the whereabouts of his assets, including items from his $5 million Manhattan apartment, New York Yankees memorabilia, and luxury watches, despite a court order to hand them over.

Giuliani’s attorney denied the allegations, claiming Giuliani was unaware of how to deliver the assets.

We could have had funniest moment of the year if authorities seized his Mercedes while he was voting.

Funnier than Giuliani getting served indictment papers at his own birthday party?

I think we still can't beat Giuliani booking the four seasons gardening center next to the dildo emporium.

[–] [email protected] 31 points 2 days ago

Idk he found himself soliciting prostitution on a fucking Borat movie

Sometimes you’re just between a dildo store and a crematorium

I don't think anything will beat this one.

Fucking liar. Guiliani was a prosecutor and knows how assets are supposed to be delivered, be just doesn't want to. I'm going to be so fucking happy the day these ugly corrupt power-mad conspiracy-pushing old white men are dead.

He also knows that ignorance of the law is not a legitimate defense, even if it's fake ignorance.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 days ago

idk, his brain might be so far gone, that he doesn't know any of these things anymore.

[–] [email protected] 20 points 2 days ago

Shocking that Giuliani does not know how to comply with the law. You know, after being a federal prosecutor for years.

Problem is, they always make new ones.

Have you checked out the new Vance model? It's almost lifelike.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 2 days ago

Not to mention that ignorance of the law is not an excuse. For most people, anyway.

[–] [email protected] 67 points 2 days ago (4 children)

I swear he's actively trying to land in jail at this point.

[–] [email protected] 66 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Or just prove that consequences are a myth

[–] [email protected] 25 points 2 days ago

When asked for comment:

[–] [email protected] 23 points 2 days ago (1 children)

More like he knows he won't see any consequences if Trump wins the election.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Oh, he will. He's ignoring a court order,

[–] [email protected] 15 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Yeah, the wealthy never get away with that!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

As a judge would say. The time to discuss this was over. I gave you a lawful order which you have ignored. Perhaps you need some time to think about that.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Or just wait for his friend Donny J. to issue a pardon.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 days ago (1 children)

The president can only pardon federal crimes. This is a NY state case AFAIK.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

I did think about that at first, but then I thought "I don't think Trump realizes that, and I don't think that would stop him."

He has enough sycophants behind him at all levels of government to make problems go away, and he definitely wants to wield the power of the president in ways that are unprecedented (un-presidented?).

One can only hope

[–] [email protected] 8 points 2 days ago

Where’s the enforcement?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 days ago

I'm more than willing to accommodate that.

[–] [email protected] 14 points 2 days ago (1 children)

He's following the Trump playbook. Delay Delay Delay.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I want a job where I can just say, “it’s almost done boss!” And then go back to not working

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 days ago

That can be any job! For a while, anyway.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 days ago

Well that's infuriating.
