I just opened someone's profile in another instance and saw this message

"You are not logged in. If you use a Fediverse account that is able to follow users, you can follow this user."

but I don't see anything about following a user here, do we have this disabled here? if so then why?

lemmy-ui - webapp you are using - doesn't have ability to follow users. You can block or message them, that's about it.

is that planning do be added? is there a way to use a different UI? (aside from the Android app)

oh thanks! I think if you wanna share posts then it's better to use its native url, which is this icon

this allows people to copy paste the URL into their home instance's search box

so for that post it's https://lemm.ee/post/10306 I think it's interesting to note that the native URL is on OP's instance and not the instance of the community
