Imagine being the first human to Rick Roll another species.

my good answer is the wikipedia page for human

More evil answer: The page on Junko Furuta. Them aliens packing up and leaving after reading that fucked up shit.
Perfect
Rofl the perfect stfu
We've kinda done this already:
The Golden Record from the Voyager missions.
My personal pick, however, is the SCP database.
SCP
The Sane Clone Posse?
Well the other posse might give a bad impression
Whoop whoop, let's keep this on an even keel!
Backdoor Sluts Vol. 7
"Mlorp, how do these beings even manage to procreate? This one is using the incorrect orifice, and this one removed his genital proboscis moments before copulation was complete!"
"Let's leave them alone, Floop. They will extinct themselves shortly."
I would send them a song letting them know I'd never gonna give them up.
"aw what a nine gesture, we shall relay this to the galactic federation on all channels"
The music video of Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley
On a gold disc.
I send Independence Day and to tell them it is a documentary. Now they know not to fuck with us.
Rather they know not to fuck with us while running Mac OS 7.5
That one fucked up hentai comic... I wanna give them mental distress as a leg up in the war between them and us.
That one fucked up hentai?
Oh you sweet summer child...
And yet, I know the one they meant...
A badly trained LLM.
Let them ask whatever they want of it without any way of verifying if what it says is correct.
Any episode of Ancient Aliens.
Star Trek: The Next Generation
Darmok, S5E2 of Star Trek: The Next Generation.
I think one of those nice Attenborough documentaries. Wasn't there one that showcased the Earth? Seems like a nice gesture to put that forward.
I wanna send them a copy of FF8!
If you're familiar with it, you'll get what kind of impression it might give.
“You mean to tell me this species’ moon is just full of monsters, and it ejaculates them onto the planet in regular intervals? And they don’t really do anything about it?”
Yep! Wait until you can see what my sword does.
A recording of 4'33".
zip bomb
all aliens use tar.gz archives sorry
The Anarchist Cookbook.
because it would be funny
IED and molotov touting naked aliens is a new mental image for me.
A 3.5 inch diskette full of some random stuff.
I still got lots of them somewhere in some box, so I won't miss it.
I don't miss the Aliens either ;-)
Smarter people have already figured this out. I'd send them a copy of the golden record we put on Voyager. It contains the kinds of things that could convey "this is where we are, this is what we look like, we've figured out about this much of this universe so far, and we make stuff that isn't utilitarian (art)"
Idiocracy packaged as an accurate history of the most powerful species on the planet.
Anything from Carl Segan.
The Tropic Thunder DVD commentary
Maybe Avatar: the last Airbender (animated series, obviously). Wholesome (overall), and maybe they'll think we all have powers.
I'm sending them heavy metal. (Da movie) I don't think it would be the best or worst impression, but it would be so worth it to see how aliens react to that shit.
i wonder how aliens would take sarcasm:
life in plastic, it's fantastic~
bonus wholesome:
I guess Paper in itself is a pretty neat invention.
