Lemmy's design is focused on quality content by ditching the Karma farmers and addicts. No more chasing upvotes—people here actually focus on real value instead of feeding the ego.

Kbin didn't federate downvotes which was pretty funny. No one from it knew when they were being downvoted by lemmy.

Plenty of Lemmy instances are the same. Beehaw and Blahaj come to mind.
