I'm looking for Ametalk episodes from this blog but some of the links don't work anymore. The only Ametalk episodes available that I can find are the JoJo ones, pro wrestling comedians, comedy duos and Showa VS Heisei Anime Song Battle. But I'm looking for any other Ametalk episodes that are subbed by J-Burugo/Godzillaradio, these include:

  • Ametalk (2011.08.11) Sakigake! Otokojuku Comedians
  • AMETALK (2010.06.17) Baki the Grappler Comedians
  • AMETALK GUNDAM COMEDIANS (09.11.2006)
  • There's also a Ametalk subbed by Shibatabread about celebrities who can't draw

Any help would be appreciated!

Hey, I have the dolls from the Spy Batsu of both Hamada and Matsumoto. Is anyone interested in buying them? I'm going through a bit of a transition with my career and could use the extra cash!

On Sunday (or early Monday, depending on your timezone), I'll be streaming the four episodes of Wednesday Downtown that include the OBON KOBON segments. These episodes were all subbed by u/Zwanster03 (https://www.patreon.com/zwanster03/). Zwanster, if you see this, we'd love for you to drop by the channel during this time if you're available.

Who are Obon Kobon? They are two older Manzai comedians who debuted in 1965. Without spoiling too much... they've been working together for many many years and have recently experienced some rough times together.

This will be streaming on the "Father_Jimmy_" 24/7 Twitch channel. For some reason, I can't post a direct link to the channel, but you can go to the Twitch website and search for "gaki". You should have no problem finding it.

I know its easy to do props but it really looks like a hospital, the beds and the TVs and even an MRI machine. I know they did use a real airport for some scenes in the airport batsu, I was wondering if the hospital is real [possibly a disused hospital]?

I have really vague details about the episode but it's one of my favourite ones I've seen until now

I remember there being a punishment scene where if you're caught you'll be punished by whatever is written on the black person's dress (I'm so sorry if that sounds wrong 💀) and one of the punishment included casts' nose being hooked to a fishing line

I'm so sorry because the details i remember are super vague but i clearly remember this scene and I want to rewatch that whole episode

Pls help me out!

This time last year we knew there'd be Waratte Toshikoshi! Sedai Taiketsu Showa Geinin vs Heisei/Reiwa geinin as the new year special.

But so far the website for NTV hasn't updated to announce it's plans.

Is this a good sign? Maybe negotiations are still ongoing?

Hey all! Here's the subs for the penultimate episode for season 2. The finale is shaping up to be quite a tough one. Let me know what you think in the comments!

Thanks to kentranslations for the translations.

I have a Patreon if you like my work. Patrons get 1 week early access to episodes before they get posted here. Thanks!

PS, it looks like Amazon found the hardsub download links on MEGA for most of the previous episodes. Oddly enough, they haven't found the raws yet. But If you're looking to watch/download any previous episodes and the links in my other posts don't work, check out GakiArchives or The Silent Library/Chiki Chiki fileshare.

I'm a very casual fan, and I first got into gaki after watching a clip of their no laughing batsu many years ago, and I've made it a yearly tradition to watch their batsu games ever since.

I knew it wasn't going to last forever especially since they were all getting older, but COVID really sped its cancellation up by a few years imo. These last few years have really hurt and I haven't watched anything of them ever since the last batsu.

I've tried watching some of their other stuff that was subbed, but they honestly never really appealed to me, the few that I watched anyway. That's why I say I'm a very casual fan.

I recall watching one of their other shows where they make weird food combinations and they taste it but it just didn't click for me. I think I just liked the batsu games for their chemistry in hanging out and joking together, dicking around trying to make eachother laugh and with all the varying and creative ways the show tries to make the cast break. So their more regular and normal comedy stuff just doesn't really do it for me, I guess.

I've watched documental and that's the closest I've seen, but that's only with Matsumoto and honestly I'm not that into it neither because I felt like a lot of the times it was just people getting their asshole out to make people laugh.

I don't suppose any more hardcore fans of the show could recommend any of their content in particular that would appeal to a more casual fan like myself, who only really liked their batsu games?

I'd also be super appreciative of any outside recommendations of similar game shows since this is the only one I've ever watched over the years and my life currently feels like it's missing something now that I haven't been able to get my batsu fix in a few years.

Does anyone know where I can download recent episodes of Gaki? I was in Japan on vacation the other week, and was introduced to this show through an incredible episode on 10/15 where the cast competed in a Terminator-themed competition. My wife knows Japanese, so it doesn't have to be subbed.

I know Hulu in Japan has the most recent month of episodes, but maintaining a subscription is difficult without a Japanese credit card, and I prefer to keep episodes I like to show my friends. At this point I would be happy to only get the episode I saw that night.

So I used to listen to anime music by Mizuki Nana. The thing is, this was very long ago.

Recently I have been noticing Mizuki Nana appearing in Japanese comedy shows (and Freeze!) and looking at her, I swear she isn't the same Mizuki Nana that has done anime-based music.

Are there two people in Japan's celebrity sphere going by Mizuki Nana, one a seiyuu/singer, the other a comedian? I see no history of Mizuki Nana doing comedy stuff on Wikipedia leading me to further think there are two using this name.

This weekend, I'll be streaming the 6 episodes of Wednesday Downtown in full ( subbed by u/Zwanster03 ) that include the Monster Love series. (Zwanster, if you see this, we'd love to have you drop by channel during this if you get a chance) This will be a little over 5 hours total.

WHAT?
What is Monster Love? It's a segment from Wednesday Downtown that mirrors dating reality shows, but stars Kuro-chan and women eager to win his heart.

WHERE?
This will be streaming on the "Father_Jimmy_" Twitch channel. For some reason, I can't post a direct link to the channel, but you can just go to twitch and just search for "gaki". You should have no problem finding it.

WHEN?
Because we have lots of viewers from all over the world in the channel, check your time zone for the start time.

Basically remembered a joke I saw years ago from a Gaki show (can’t remember any specifics) where Yamazaki repeats “OKONOMIYAKI” in an obnoxious voice lol. I know this is very little information to go off of and this is a long shot but hopefully someone knows what I’m talking about, thank you 🙏

Hey guys!

Not long ago, I found a game of Gaki No Tsukai where two people have to recite a list of something lest they get one's crotch in the face. Do you know what show it belongs to so that I can watch it on the Gaki Archives?

20

Was telling my brother about this. Anyone familiar with the episode?

21

It was a while back. Looked like late 90s or early 00s hes somewhere in cali and asking people to watch Japanese comedy to see if they have the same kind of humor.

Hey guys!

I was scrolling through the Gaki Archives one day, and when I looked through the Batsu Games category, I found out that they were no videos for the Batsu Games from 2021 onwards. Does this mean that no Batsu Games have been produced since then? If not, why weren't they added to the archive yet?

I recently lost all my collection due to a mistake during recovery [I left the hdd plugged in, and the recovery wiped it clean]. I was able to get about 60-70% back with a data recovery software but lost the rest. Started downloading again what I could find on the net, but these two episodes arent available anywhere. I got them from the gaki fan site when they were first uploaded, but its taken down now because of low cloud storage. So, I was hoping to find some help here. If any of you could point me to a working link, or happen to have a local copy and are willing to share it with me, I'll be grateful.
P.S: These episodes weren't subbed afaik, so I'm looking for raws.
