Wikipedia is correct. I was 34 on 9/11. There was so much of this crazy bs. The freedom fries thing was rampant. I lived a few blocks from a mosque, and sadly there were several threats, picketers and vandalism for several years.

How to with John Wilson, 30 Rock, Malcolm in the Middle, The Office, Nathan for You, Parks and Rec, Joe Pera Talks to You, Ted Lasso, Baskets (LOVE it, but can be a little sad and heartbreaking in addition to being hilarious and sweet)

You’re welcome. I was surprised to see your comment and be reminded of this amazing show. My mom told me about it, she saw the original airing, and then I was able to make a VHS recording so I could see all of it (a looooooooong time ago). I really like your comments and that’s great you are making a YT video about that. I will look forward to it!

Based on this, maybe check out Snowfall next…

Wow. This might get my vote too. I have never encountered another person who has seen it or even heard of it. A few people know about Pennies from Heaven (what is a decent movie with Bernadette Peters and Steve Martin).

I looked at it again and it reads “tortured“ woman. I think this is an older usage that most people now aren’t used to seeing. What this means is tortured, is not ‘being tortured’, it’s used as an adjective not a verb. So what I remember from a long time ago was the phrase “she/he had a tortured look on their face”. It doesn’t mean literal torture in the Abu Ghraib sense. BUT, I’m still gonna go with: click bait!

I was in high school in the late 70s and early 80s. Nobody was out. But people kind of knew. One time I was on a train into the city (San Francisco), and I saw two students along with one of our teachers headed there. I thought that was kind of cool, but seemed also a bit dangerous and ill-advised at the time. I am fairly certain that our very popular senior class president was gay. Very sadly, he took his own life.

Thank you for this message. I agree, and this is what my family has had for about 16 years. $250/month for a family of 3 with 2 adults well over 50. Everything about it is great, and they deliver my prescription to my home.
