To recap, a major legislative change involving a wonderful but unspecified solution. You could be forgiven for being a little sceptical about these Sunlit Uplands.

This part of the article is striking to me. A wonderful but unspecified solution surely will mean something half baked and under supported.

Also love wefwef and the ui, every time i open it there's an update or more than one. I used sync for 8 years I believe and can't wait for it to be on lemmy so I'm sure I'll also switch.

Given up on using Google messaging apps once hangouts was killed and allo rolled out. RCS isn't even as open as they say it is. No third party apps. Since moving back to the us trying to get everyone to switch to matrix (via beeper) or just using the bridges to talk to people on their default which usually is imessage unfortunately.

Had a feeling this would happen unfortunately. I have a lot of student loans for my graduate degree and even if they would put the interest rate at something reasonable that would be so much better than the rates that are currently set
