This is the thing I dislike more about Mastodon, I do not know if Lemmy handles it differently, but I don't have this problem with Lemmy.

Not precisely hyped, I still need to finish the original (I just saw a handful of episodes as a kid, but really really liked it).

What I am kinda hyped though is that it will be more loyal to the original source, unlike the old adaptation, but not that much as it could be the same case with Shaman King's Netflix vs the Fox Kids adaptation? While the latter went too different from the manga, the adapted parts were done at a much better pace than the Netflix version.

that isn't supported anymore.

Opencore Legacy Patcher is a thing.

Maybe you meant legal streaming anime?

  • I use Stremio + Torrentio with RD + Kitsu add-ons

  • Kodi + Fen Light/Umbrella/POV/Seren/Otaku

  • Anime TV Android app

  • CloudStream

And my HDDs are happy to not be full all the time anymore lol.

You can use Summit for Lemmy for this... I don't know which other clients keep the history that long, Summit does fine though.

Remember when the consoles used to lower their price with the past of the years?

I am a patient gamer and I have never played the second title (despite having the fan translation rom always handy)... I am conflicted, if I play this game as soon as it is released, am I or not a patient gamer yet lmao (because I want to play it ASAP, and I rarely feel that urge).

Yeah, I also would like an explanation of this line of thinking.

It makes sense if you don't have a PS4.

(It would never cross my mind that backwards compatibility would be seen as a bad point... Or at least that is what I am afraid Sony starts to believe lol).

Honestly, I would get a Steam Deck first, and that wasn't my line of thinking back then... But guess which or the two units are sold in Mexico ¯_(ツ)_/¯

The good thing is that it is cheap and doesn't have any microtransactions.

I don't doubt it is good, but also it hurts that this must be stated to show a game is good nowadays (especially the micro transactions bit) :/

Why not buy a DSi and hack it or a DS with a flashcart then?

If we follow that logic then why bother bringing back old games?

For me it is always a win that people get to enjoy these older gems in their current console.

They replaced the magic seal touch screen garbage with a key combo

Why nowadays everyone hates DS gimmicks?

Is it the iPhone's fault? At that moment the DS gameplay was the shit.

Heck I would even say Metroid Prime Hunters Online was (and still is thanks to Wimmfi) one of the most fast paced shooters thanks to the touchscreen (easily the most fast paced one of the handhelds).

The DS is my favorite handheld since I got my hands on one, and I'll defend it until my grave.
