Thanks, I know how to create a new account on a new server, I just hoped for an easy way to move all my subs.

Do you know of a way for those of us only on mobile to move subs over?

This is deliciously mild.

OP, like me, probably doesn’t/didn’t know that the website interface for Lemmy has a solution for this and it’s actually an app problem. So to OP it is a “Lemmy” gripe until we’re given more info. :)

On the very slim chance someone else is curious about the work of art I did an image search :

Semi-related, my dad taught me if no one was hurt/nothing bad happened to start with that. Like if a friend was in a car accident I start “Everyone is ok, but Michael got rear ended this morning” or “There was minimal damage thankfully, but a tornado went through Jessica’s neighborhood last night”. No point in making someone go through that roller coaster.

Besides, sync was always monetized, and everyone that was asking/begging Dawson to migrate the app knew that. The only people surprised are people that didn't use it to begin with, and aren't going to use it now.

I’m an iPhone user so never had Sync, but even I’m confused about how upset people are. It’s like they’re trying to be offended on behalf of Sync users? Like…Sync users aren’t forced to use it and aren’t forced to pay for it. They choose to because they like the app and appreciate what the dev does. I loved Apollo and while I know Christian isn’t going to make a Lemmy app, if he did I would pay for it/pay for an ad free version because I know he does good work and I like his product.

Thanks for your response!! I agree they’re aesthetically better, by a mile! I was just worried about their functional practicality.

Oh god does it not even have adjustable font??

What’s the benefit of paver sidewalks? I would think they’d be harder to keep clear of snow, like I know people with brick/paver drives and they’re less easy to shovel. Plus more points to become unsettled/uneven and have edges come up for tripping. I assume there’s positives I’m missing!

Yeah that occurred to me like in the middle of the thought process and I just rolled with it. 😅 That apartment kitchen was so dark I turned the lights on a lot.

In my old apartment I lived in for 6 years I must have had a faulty kitchen light that did something to the bulbs because I changed LEDs in that like more than once a year, but none of the other lights I changed. Granted I also turned on that light way more than the overhead bedroom light so idk. But I definitely killed quite a few LEDs.
