I tested live to ground, live to neutral, both in and out of the UPS, and I couldn't see anything out of the ordinary.

The input signal isn't a clean sine wave but it's not dirty either, I'd say it's sine with some extra harmonics and a little bit of noise. There were no sudden peaks or meaningful variations even while the UPS was switching furiously.

I don't have CFL bulbs, only LEDs. I can't think of anything else that could be causing interference. I'll try contacting the power company as suggested by @[email protected]

Thanks for all the replies.

If you're serious about gaming on linux then yes, the AMD situation is a lot better than nvidia's, you'll have better compatibility and better support in general. I would suggest something better than a 6700xt though, you can get good deals on used 6000 series cards and even new ones in some countries.

I'd say I'm above average but not a genius, IQ professionally tested at 117.

I have decent logic skills, spatial awareness, but I really think I lack social skills, I have a very hard time picking up social cues and that kind of stuff. That's something an IQ test can't measure and it's my weakest spot.

In 2018, I had an infection and I basically couldn't eat or drink almost anything without throwing up, even a sip od water would make me sick for hours. The antibiotics made it even worse.

I lost over 15kg in 2 weeks, I legit thought I was going to die. It took almost 2 years before I could eat normally again.

Good to know, I'll keep an eye on it. Too bad they don't have a proper fdroid repo yet

I use both Mull and Mulch, the latter being a chromium based browser considered the successor to Bromite, which hasn't been updated in a while. I can recommend both honestly, I just use both for different things.

Mull can delete all data when closed which is better for privacy so that's the one I use the most, but Mulch provides a webview for the entire system through a magisk module which improves the entire system.

Fitgirl installers usually work on linux, some of them crash but it can be worked around with WINE_HEAP_DELAY_FREE=1 (assuming you're using a wine build based on valve's tree). This also fixes a lot of old games crashing due to memory management issues and race conditions between threads.

It depends on the group. Some release directly to major torrent sites, others release them on a certain counter strike russian forum, some release them on usenet and then they are redistributed by the users.

I may be weird but I use both Ark (default archiver in KDE) and 7-zip in wine. The reason is that 7-zip has better compatibility with some file formats but most importantly, Ark can't extract files with unicode file names from some archive formats (including tar!). This problem has been known for years and affect many other linux archivers, it's a pain in the ass.

I agree. Coming from the Windows world, systemd felt quite familiar compared to other components in a typical linux system, I always liked it. It doesn't really follow the unix philosophy though, so it gets a lot of hate.

Cool stuff, now add some physics to those branches :)
