Except for they didn't avoid it. They knew it was happening weeks in advance and didn't do shit to stop it. Just because franchise owners have a bit of autonomy does NOT mean corporate won't bring the hammer down if they think something will tarnish the brand.

How does searching discord work? I was under the impression that entire chat logs weren't permanent and that older exchanges would be routinely deleted.

Won't disagree with you there, I was just explaining why he's put on such a pedestal. It's not uncommon for the most well known people in an art to not be the absolute most talented people doing it; unfortunately talent alone almost never brings people success.

I mean Seinfeld was fucking huge. It's hard to overstate how big a hit it was in its time. And he was co-creator, the lead role, and obv his name is the name of the show. How could you not see people putting him up as one of the greats?

I'm not personally the biggest fan of his particular style of comedy, and you can certainly find issue with his personality and behavior over the years, but the man knows how joke structure works. He's an expert in his craft. And you may not think he's as good as some of his contemporaries, but there's no denying he's more of a household name than most if not all of them.

I'm not sure but I think that comment might be clever satire

I don't disagree with your overall point, but statistics like that are almost always heavily skewed because of high infant mortality rates

Which is exactly why I called my local election office, and I even mentioned it might have been because of the rain we were having, but I was told no, it wasnt the damp that caused it because they had confirmed with the factory that sent the ballots out that some had been sent out like that. They then told me to tape it and when I was hesitant because I had the same thought as you they told me they had checked several times with the registrar that taping them up was what to do. They said it was a known issue so it would be accepted.

A lot of the virginia ballots were mailed out with the return envelopes already sealed up. I called the election office and they said to cut them open and just seal them back with tape 🤣

I genuinely thought this was going to end with like "and then shove it up your ass!" or something

That's very true and i figured I'd get downvoted for asking, it's just this election has me so nervous because it's still such a toss up and people equate any (even perceived) economic downturn as being the fault of the current administration. I just wanted to know if anyone here had any more insight on the dude.

At the end of the day it's all about the workers and i don't mind suffering small inconveniences if it gets the wiring class better lives.

Is this the same strike where the union leader is like friends with Trump? I've been feeling weird since I heard that because I'm all about workers striking but it seems like it might also be designed timing wise to make biden/harris look bad for the economy right before the election?
