I'm continuing apologising for premium exclusively because it pays creators more, and more consistently. I never go on the internet without all the adblocks possible, the sight of an add makes me irrationally angry. I'm still paying for premium

Hey, good for you, you voted. Most people didn't.
They wanted Trump to win, or didn't care who does. They are at fault. They had the ability to change the course of election and chose this way. Even trump supporters are less at fault, they're in a cult, their brain fell off, they don't have a choice.
Democratic party cares about opinions of people who vote for them, it's that simple.

Those polls mean shit, if people who vaguely "want progressive policies" then turn back and either vote directly against them, or just don't do anything. You can yapp whatever you want, want whatever you want, but if you don't vote for it, or at least against polar opposite, you might as well put your head up your ass and express your opinions to the audience there.
People who saw Trump, and didn't vote against him for a candidate that is obviously, demonstrably better on all the issues you can care about, didn't do it because that candidate wasn't better enough, they did what they did because they OK with Trump. As to who's fault it is... I don't know, human nature probably, lack of education, lead paint, huge number of factors.

Oh, politicians will do the changing all right. They will identify the people who vote and will cater more to them, moving further right. Many of them don't want that actually, but since getting votes is the only way to be elected, and left doesn't vote, they just have to.
People though? I don't know, right now I'm disappointed in all the America, so I don't believe change is possible. I however will continue yelling at idiots who don't want right wing politicians but don't vote therefore don't express their wants. I will also continue doing public communication, maybe less yelly though.

Those are made on Firefox engine. That is made and maintained by the company Mozilla. Which is experiencing those problems.
It's like those people who say that they don't use chrome because it's shit and breaks privacy, they use edge and brave.

"Why do liberals do this to us? This is a failure of the demonrat party, next time I'm voting for Trump harder, he promised to help us"

Edge isn't really better in any way. It's both Google and Microsoft, like the marriage of awful

Firefox's future isn't looking good with all that layoffs and lost money. I am very scared that it might go the way of Opera, and then we will trully have nothing left.

Guess you didn't listen either, since you thought they offer you nothing

Progressive policies are actually popular.

Not according to voters patterns they aren't. Comments on Reddit, threads on Lemmy and shits on Xitter doesn't do anything if by the end of the day people who are incredibly active in those threads just don't vote. It is either because it's actually not a lot of people doing a lot of noise, or a lot of people who don't know how American democracy operates, and it doesn't matter if there is a difference. Promises of progressive politics don't bring votes, simple as.
