They are not sleeping. They are protecting you from all the greebles, so that you may sleep with a peaceful mind.

Can you get companies to install solar panels? Few of us can, but (almost) anyone can go vegan. And even if you can influence corporations to reduce emissions, you can still go vegan! It's not either/or
Unfortunately you need to (at least in my experience) purge the feed couple times a year. Just use "not interested" with a heavy hand and a light heart. It tends to recommend new stuff after that.
I recommend binge-watching Jackson Galaxy on youtube, he helped me immensively to understand my first cat. He also has videos for pretty much all issues one might have with a cat.
Sounds like it's prime time for a SQL-injection
It is much easier, os long as that version is in main repo. If not, it can still be easy (run this one extra command), or you are gonna pull your hair out trying to figure out how to install some antique proprietary software on fedora, using an installing guide made for Ubuntu 16.04. :)
Fortunately VMs are fast to set-up.
It is just easier, and having a simple ui of different podcasts and their episodes along with their progress is a nice QOL -feature. You can probably get the sam, result with a media-player and some tinkering, but is not as easy.
Granted, I see no reason to pay for a podcast app (other to support creators), as free open-source options such as AntennaPod exist.
Fortunately you can use magisk to hide the rooted status from most apps. At least in Finland, I have had no problems with Nordea or Danske Bank. I remember that some app was troublesome, but I think I figured that one out also eventually.
I'm using Byobu, which is (apparently) a wrapper for screen and tmux, providing things like sensible hotkeys (F2 new tab, ctrl+F2 vertical split etc).
Granted, I haven't used regular screen or tmux, so I'm not sure what they have compared to byobu. Someone just said to use it, and I never went back.
I still don't understand hot that statement is "misleading"?
...you have made a smart choice, and can focus on reducing your other emissions!
I'm not so sure which one would have larger impact, do you happen to have any info about that? Of course the best option would be if both of these happened.
What I'm trying to get to, is that just because our own impact is small, it isn't a reason to do nothing. There is no need to feel existencial threat from eating a steak or flying, but it's best to remember that every little thing helps.
There is also the social effect: the more people make climate conscious decisions, the easier it becomes for others to make those same decisions! We are scial creatures after all.
Also vegan diet is generally cheaper, as long as you don't eat only things like fake meat. After all, lentils and beans are much cheaper than meat.
