no attachment, no passion, no creativity

i have attachment to the fact that you pay me, i'm passionate about getting fucking paid, and i'm creative about how little work i can get away with doing while still taking your fucking money

found out while i was buying christmas presents that a big box of bougie ass chocolates just so happens to weigh the exact same as store brand toilet paper cool-dad hiding shit behind the dodgy weighting mechanics of these machines is great

hell, the other day i got a free lunch by literally just holding my bag of snacks in my mouth like i didn't have enough hands and then walking out with them with a shop assistent like 10 paces away. i didn't even realise i was "stealing" until i was paying for the other shit lol. i wish i were braver about it though, every time i feel like i'm missing Value™ by not pushing my luck. at least the scandalised look on my middleclass roommates' faces when i mention this shit is fun.

newpipe is an open source adless front app that has never given me any trouble and lets you play audio in the background and download stuff. as far as i'm concerned, its signifigantly more convenient than the youtube app. i can't imagine having to listen to an ad every 5 minutes as i try to sleep, i'd become a terrorist

idk about other zoomers but i unironically experienced them for the first time in fnaf. but i think i must have seen memes about chucky cheese or american theme parks, and either way Evil Murder Robot™ isn't exactly a hard concept to figure out lol

phd applications fucking suck but god if i have to spend another year in this job i'm going to commit adventurism. its not the economically sensible decision but if i have the slightest chance to do something about climate change, surely i have to

a mate of mine spent $90 on digimon card packs last night, got like 7 cards out of it he actually liked, and he was happy about that. there was literally a stack of like 100 junk cards next to the "good" ones. its insane to me

i don't want to see what male g*mers (or devs) would do with canonically lesbain characters. theres no way that ends well in anything non-indie

I've never touched SQL but some friends said that its a language you can basically learn in an afternoon, so I put it on my CV and applied to some jobs that say they want SQL lol. But now I've actually gotten an interview and I'd like to not get caught out as bullshitting - is it as easy as my friends say and do any of yall have some good resources about learning/using it? In the past I've had pdfs that take you from nothing to profiecency in a language and I'd love something similar, but now that I've graduated I don't have access to stuff like that anymore. I have a shittonne of experience in python if that helps (although at a glance nothing i'm seeing online looks much like python, but i'm told that you can implement it through python or something?)

Most stuff I can find quickly either try to make you pay for it or they're videos instead of text and that doesn't really play well with the adhd. Do you guys have anything? Thanks for the help scamming a corporation comrades meow-hug
