i don't want to see what male g*mers (or devs) would do with canonically lesbain characters. theres no way that ends well in anything non-indie
Didn't they mod a lesbian character in cyberpunk to be bi or something?
Yeah, and the straight girl to be bi as well, not sure about the dudes
Sadly that's already a thing, not to mention the dumpster-fire in response to Tracer being gay. .
Still, I like both options in games. DD2 had everyone bisexual just for ease of play, but I do like a fleshed-out story where sexuality and kink runs a gamut.
As much as the game is the blandest thing I've ever played, I liked the fact that Outer Worlds had an asexual lesbian companion who was NOT into you but wanted your advice on how to approach their love interest NPC.
If I recall, the character got pretty positive press even if the writing wasn't the best, but I'm not on Xitter where the gamer discourse is usually at.
Yeah Parvati was very well recieved. Good example of what i mention in my post of writing charachters with a set sexuality who arent romance options for the player.
