I really wonder what the state of OpenAI will be in five years. They really don't have a proper business model (or at the very least a functional one), and it doesn't seem like they will have one. Will Microsoft fully buy them out? It seems like the only way to make "AI" profitable is to make it a selling point on products that would have otherwise already had large profit margins.

I didn't even know interactive wallpapers were a thing, that sounds so cool! I'm the kind of boring person who keeps almost every default unless it bothers me, even the wallpaper ๐
Nice! It seems like the cables are justified. I also ended up on default 12.04 with unity after a half year or so because kde at the time had too many quirky for me. I've honestly been wanting to give it another go since plasma 5 came out, but haven't gotten around to it.
Kubuntu! Kubuntu 12.04 was my first distro, so it always makes me happy to see :D Also, you seem to have a lot of cables on your desk, and I can't figure out what they'd all be for :P

I'm kind of shocked something like this could even happen. At the very least it's a lesson in sanitization I suppose.
Someone more versed in political science than I can correct me here, but I'm pretty sure direct democracy and true democracy would be synonyms. But that doesn't mean there wouldn't still be a need to fight back against antidemocratic forces. In any system where the laws can change, so too can the holders of power, and people are very capable of voting against their self interest. Complacency is, unfortunately, never an option.
I'm afraid of what this will mean for similar conspiracy theorists in other countries :( I'm very afraid that none of us are safe from people like this.
