"Am I the pregenant?"

I mean, most intel chips have already come out of Israel and have done so since before the war, so I feel like this investment is just business sense for them and moving doesn't make sense either since they have already spent probably trillions in that facility and training locals and can't just pickup and go elsewhere.

And no, I'm not defending their decision, but I'm not going to attack them either.

So how do you do profile pic hosted elsewhere?

Another thing I've noticed is that I can't post pictures on lemm.ee at all, no profile picture, post, or comment picture.

I'm a simple man.

I see reddit, I downvote.

Starfield is in the list, and that automatically disqualies this entire article, IMO

I honestly feel defeated right now, it feels like currently it's impossible to truly stay private online unless one is willing to move to a cabin in the woods with no internet and you stop using tech all together and truly become a ghost and stay offline. Can someone help me feel like everything I am currently doing is actually making a difference? Because right now it doesn't feel like it.

Hello everyone, I am pulling my home's existing ethernet cables from the garage and into my home to install a network rack. Currently my garage does not have insulation (for a future project), so it get's too hot during summer for my router to live there, so I want to install it in my mudroom where there is insulation. My question is if I drill a hole to put some sort of cable cover (ie. https://a.co/d/1hHosME) will it affect my home's insulation too much where I should be doing something else? If so, what should I do to improve the cable runs?

During all this monitoring, I wasn’t anywhere near the rider. I didn’t even need to see them with my own eyes. Instead, I was sitting inside an apartment, following their movements through a feature on a Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) website, which runs the New York City subway system.

I've been looking for a weather app to use but every app uses AccuWeather which actually gets their data from NOAA (which is public and always free to use) and then repackage it for their own profit, so I would like to not give them any traffic if possible and go straight to NOAA. Does anyone know any apps like this?

Hello everyone. Currently I have a Minecraft server and a Jellyfin server running on an old Windows 10 gaming PC, but it's too hot and it makes working in my office (where my UDM SE and switch are in). Both applications are running on a 1TB platter drive. I would like to setup something that is at least cooler and less power hungry to run, as well as give it redundant storage as I would also like to throw NextCloud, and a personal web server into that. What hardware recommendations would you all recommend.

As a bonus question, does anyone have any resources to learn how I could securely setup my network in order to be able to access my personal server from the web without a VPN (my kids would like to invite their friends to the Minecraft server :P)

Hi everyone, if this is not the right place please let me know.

I was trying to log in on the lemmy.ml insrance on the web but there appears that the api is returning 404 errors and not letting me log in.

The error appears on console in dev tools and reads that the POST call to https://lemmy.ml/api/v3/user/loging is getting a 404 error from the server.

I have tried Brave, Edge, and Firefox with the same result.
