1Password said they wanna do the same thing. It's just so hard to believe that they'll actually do it/be able to do it. Like can any company really be trusted?

Clickbait title... But

I think this is a good idea; giving folks, by default, more control over what is going onto to their systems. Reduces the bloat and the ISO size is definitely useful in certain situations. Power of choice to the users!

OK thank you for the information!

But I can see my /u/ page on the website? So I'm very confused

I applied for a Beehaw account a week ago and it looks like it was approved but I can't log in. The Jerboa app says incorrect login and on the website the login button just spins. Anything I can do?

As with BotW, I'll be late to the game to try TotK, and I intend to continue the video/guide blackout as I did with the first game, until I've beaten the game fully to my satisfaction and am looking for what else there is to do in the game.

Quite simply, content can't be trusted to give you a good experience. I hate to sound like an old man, but you gotta do it like in the old days and go in blind and just discover the game yourself and experience it organically.

In every game I've ever tried it in, as soon as I got into min/maxing it ruined it for me. Obviously that's entirely subjective, but I think some gamers are really missing out in the hyper-competitiveness that the culture promotes these days. Just play the game man.

I love DS9 and this scene in particular is one of my favorites! Such a good show.

I did the neopets thing too! I remember having to ask the local library to acquire books that taught HTML and CSS so I could learn it!

I'm always interested in hearing other's stories and what they're working on. Anyone care to share?

Yeah I get you. And honestly so few games these days have an actual ending anyway. Open world, sandbox, ancillary objective, and multiplayer games have changed the way we look at games in general. I can't remember the last time I "beat" a game. I mean maybe a few months ago when I finished the main storyline of No Man's Sky, but did I really beat it? No, I just finished one of the many quests.

Super Mario 64 is a game you beat. Most games today, you just don't.

I submitted my application a couple days ago and still can't login. I know there's a "limbo" for denied applications. Perhaps I'm stuck there?

I have this account in lemmy.one instance but Beehaw is definitely more the vibe I want for my home instance and I'd really love to be part of the community. Is there anyway I can find out more information about what's going on with my application?

It's just my humble opinion, but I'm not a fan of the new look to have the score and arrows visible on the main page. I feel like it's too easy to vote and move on and not truly interact with the post.

Also, the numbers play an immediate influence in whether you want to check the post out or not. It's too easy to make a snap judgement and I feel like it reduces engagement overall.

Just my thoughts. Would love to hear others as well!

Like my home instance is lemmy.one, but if I wanted to create a community on some other instance would I be able to do that? I assume not, and that I'd need to create another account on the instance the community is local to. Is that correct?

Still learning this whole fediverse thing.

This is an interesting signing if it pans out as this player doesn't really fit into current roster rules in MLS for FC Cincinnati. This may be an indication that with Messi signing for Miami, MLS may be loosening roster restrictions league-wide
