As with BotW, I'll be late to the game to try TotK, and I intend to continue the video/guide blackout as I did with the first game, until I've beaten the game fully to my satisfaction and am looking for what else there is to do in the game.
Quite simply, content can't be trusted to give you a good experience. I hate to sound like an old man, but you gotta do it like in the old days and go in blind and just discover the game yourself and experience it organically.
In every game I've ever tried it in, as soon as I got into min/maxing it ruined it for me. Obviously that's entirely subjective, but I think some gamers are really missing out in the hyper-competitiveness that the culture promotes these days. Just play the game man.
